"Honestly, I'd rather not leave a review. I'm afraid if the rating is too high, more people will discover this hotel, and then it'll be even harder to book a room in the future. But I also feel it would be wrong not to praise such a great owner, so I spent days deliberating before finally writing this. Since I'm in China and don't have WhatsApp, I had a lot of trouble coordinating the boat transfer with the owner initially, but thankfully everything was resolved in the end. When the taxi took us to the hotel, I was actually both shocked and disappointed. From the review pictures, I had always imagined it would be a hotel similar to those in the Maldives. Instead, we were greeted by roads that looked like a construction site, even more terrifying than the Philippines! If it weren't for the signposts along the way, I honestly would have thought the driver was trying to sell us. The room was small, there was no room service, and the neighbors kept smoking, with the smoke wafting over, making it impossible for me to sit by my own door. All of this made my first day very unpleasant. However, once the neighbors checked out and there was no more smoking, I sat by my room door, admiring the sea in front of me, and suddenly felt that this was the best hotel in the world! There's a large tree by the room door, so the kids could dig in the sand under its shade without worrying about getting sunburned. The sea had beautiful corals and small fish, allowing me to snorkel to my heart's content. The hotel's breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to satisfy guests from all over the world. What truly touched me was that the fried rice on the first day was spicy, which my child couldn't eat. We didn't even mention anything to the owner, but for the following days, there was no more spicy fried rice. Because we're Chinese, our child is used to drinking warm milk. Even though it wasn't on the menu, the chef immediately started preparing it for us after understanding our request. My child has only been learning English for a year, and all the hotel staff patiently listened to him articulate his requests in English. One young lady even smiled and encouraged him. All of this truly moved us. The reason for not giving a higher rating is simply because I don't want more people to discover it. This hotel is truly amazing, and we will definitely be back next year!"

"Location : super private, very clean and very well kept. Staff service : friendly, attentive. Shout out to Rudra, Pika, Afiq, and their kitchen crew Wani. they say that the people is the heart and soul of the brand and it reflects immensely in the boathouse. Even the director of operations took his rounds to walk and chatted us up. Thank you Thevan. Room : very new and clean tho sound insulation is abit of an issue. But it’s all good. Internet : good and stable. This part of the island cuts off coverage if you have a local sim. Amenities : For now, it’s just jungle tracking with ATV or island hopping/diving. What can be improved : 1. perhaps more upbeat music at the bar area for people to let loose. 2. weekends when there are more people, a fire performance or a light show/drone or something. So that there is a slight group entertainment. 3. Pier could be abit more lighted to see the sea during the night."

"Our trip was fantastic. Staff at the resort were great--rooms excellent--well organized--good instructors teaching new divers very well. Boats were great, Divemaster's well versed on reefs. Diving nice--shallowish , but that makes for rustic ,calm easy diving. All in all a experience that will bring me back to this dive resort. Ben and Martin--you have a great place and model that is all about divers, but the non-diver will enjoy the fun that this place gives to all patrons. Jurgens"

"The Good: The location is quite central and not too far from the jetty. The Western restaurant out front serves great food with an amazing view. The Bad: The soundproofing is pretty weak. There are a lot of ants, plus some spiders and geckos in the room. Housekeeping definitely needs to step up; the cleanliness was lacking. 好的部分： 位置挺中心的，离码头也不算远。 前面的西餐厅食物很好吃，风景绝美。 不好的部分： 隔音挺弱的。 房间里很多蚂蚁，外加一些蜘蛛和壁虎。 卫生打扫确实得加把劲，干净程度有所欠缺。"
