This was our second trip to Japan within the past 5 years. Previously, we stayed at a budget hotel which was cramped and small compared to American hotels. For this reason, we decided to splurge and I'm so glad we did. Splurge on the deluxe room if you value space and comfort. It not only made a huge difference, but it made our stay even better. The deluxe room comes with a walk- in closet, huge bathroom, and the room itself was big enough for a King bed and sitting area with a couch and chair. The staff provided excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is not that close to a train station so be wary of that, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, this hotel is huge and navigating it takes time before you know where to go and how to get to the area's local restaurants and train stations. The hotel grounds have a beautiful Japanese garden with waterfall which rivals some parks. The only criticism I have about our stay is dining. As do all hotels, this one charges a huge price to dine on-site. You have access to local restaurants that are within walking distance for half the price. If you want to save money do a little research online and dine off-site. There are plenty of options around the area.

The hotel locates at the tranquil part of Tokyo with convenient access to restaurants and subway stations. The highlight of my stay was the astonishing view outside the window, which can look at the Sky Tree Tower from afar, very clear though. Also, the hotel has the oldest Japanese Park.

The room and view are great, and the service is worthy of the price. The swimming pool is good, but children are not allowed to swim. The children are a bit disappointed. If you are a parent, you will not choose this place next time. Conrad’s facilities are not as new as Prince Gallery, but it is more child-friendly . This hotel is suitable for couples... it will be very graphic.

My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at The Kitano and overall we really enjoyed our stay. A few pros, the room was clean and larger than expected. The hotel only had 4 floors so it gave a boutique feeling in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly, especially at breakfast (but felt like they could have helped a bit more when trying to find dinner, which was a bit difficult for us). Worth mentioning, the location was a little far from the sights and not on the JR loop so we had to take the regular subway which took a little extra planing and time. The general area didn’t have many good restaurants so plan ahead. Even though we enjoyed our stay but as tourists we would probably select a different location next time.

Great area with lots to do around, plus a two minute walk to the nearest train station! I loved it so much that I extended my stay here for a couple days more because I really enjoyed it. It also has a couple of good restaurants and cafe inside the hotel not to mention a convenient store so you literally never have to leave the area if you need anything!

We stayed for 3 nights in November 2021. Thank you very much for your consideration of the upgrade of the room because you made a slightly irregular reservation. The location is very convenient because it is close to the station entrance to the train platform and is close to the station entrance. It is 7 minutes from Ichigaya Station, but I took about 10 minutes. Well, this is a personal difference. There is a climb from the station to the hotel and a downhill from the hotel to the station. The convenience store was important by the entrance of the kojimachi station. In addition, there are embassy around the hotel, and it is not related to the noise. The customer service of the front desk 々 was also polite. The room was very general size and arrangement, but it was convenient to have a mobile phone charger on the pillow. The temperature of the air conditioner was also individually set and comfortable. The water pressure of the shower was not bad. The refrigerator is small. The way to cool was now one. It may be insufficient if it is hot. The amenities were a way to pick up the necessary amount from the side of the lobby, but the bathing agent was gone late at night. Could you speak in the lobby? It is not a hotel in the classic sense. It is more like a Boardinghouse. The rooms are like small apartments with a bathroom, small kitchenette, washing machine. The room is really large for Japanese conditions, we had a room with double bed, sofa, small table, desk, TV (only Japanese broadcasters), air conditioning, small balcony, from which we even could see the Fuji Mount. The bed was very good, comfortable, large (Japanese double beds are otherwise often very narrow!), good bed linen. All overall was very clean, but the sofa had a lot of spots and overall could be renovated once. It really only refers to the optics, it worked everything. In the bathroom everything was available (as usual in Japan). The kitchen line is too small to really cook something, but for breakfast, cupnoodles or to warm up a finished dish in the microwave is enough. However, there are so many restaurants in the nearby run that you can go very well to eat. We booked the room without breakfast because you can also go to a very good and relatively cheap breakfast in Japan and the hotel's breakfast had no good reviews. The hotel is located on a 4-spurged street, it is nothing more out on the evening and in the room it was absolutely quiet. The public transportation station is 3 minutes walking distance, the metro and JR trains are driven to the station. You can get to all the attractions well. Of course you are also on a longer journey in Tokyo. There are 2 mini markets near the hotel where you can take care of everything. Entry and check-in went quickly and smoothly, the staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again and can recommend the hotel in full. Whoever has been living in a Japanese hotel for a long time knows to appreciate the size of the rooms!

It was really nice. There’s not that many hotels that serve a room for 3 people but here has it. I didn’t want a room with camp bed or folding bed. The additional bed was cosy here. The room was quite small for three people but we almost didn’t stay in the room and just came here for a sleep so it was fine. Two convenience stores are near to the hotel and it’s really close to the subway station Hanzomon so I thought it’s a perfect choice for the Tokyo trip. Plus next to the hotel there’s a quick soba restaurant maybe for the morning business man was cheap and the taste is also not bad. If you’re busy you can try it

Tokyo DIAMOND HOTEL (Diamond Hotel) is located not far from the Banyanmen Subway Station, and because it is located in a quiet residential area, it is not too noisy to enter and leave the hotel in the morning and evening. The sound insulation in the room is OK, the only downside is that the floor is a blanket not a common tile in the hotel. Why should you stay at this hotel as a tourist? First of all, location. Only 5 minutes walk from Ichigaya JR & Metro station, across the bridge. So centralise that if you take the trains towards any direction at rush hour in the morning, you get empty cars, as the crowds are coming against you. Equally, as you return in the evening, the crowds are going the other way. It's a great hotel, super convenient, comfortable, nice and clean. But it is not prepared to service foreign visitors. Hardly anyone has minimum control of English. They will usually leave the call, or the desk, or pretend they cannot help, but once you use the term HELP, they will make everything possible to help, no matter how confused they are. I'd be happy to return and stay strategically here. Why not? The only reason to stay elsewhere is if you have a much higher budget.

Location: Near to Hanzomon Station which link to most of the place you will visit as a tourist. Cleanliness: the room is clean, not feeling any uncomfortable. Just too small. Service: Reception Staff is nice & explain their hotel facilities. Facilities: In room facilities is well maintained but the aircon blowing sound is a bit loud. check out process is simple and is friendly. Washing Machine & dryer is available but a bit expensive for us, nearby there is a laundry shop provide larger machine with cheaper price. free breakfast (just a bread) & coffee & tea. Lastly, the hotel design is modern.

It was my 3rd reservation there, because I like the location. However because of a misunderstanding on the staff side, the 3rd night my bed was given to another customer and I had to find another place in Tokyo to spend the night in. Following that I never got any apologies from the hotel, just a refund for that night (the bare minimum IMO) . Their check-in electronic system is a bit complicated and doesn't overcome the minimal presence and response of some kind of staff. There's a huge margin for improvement in this regard. The electronic lock system on the bedrooms's door is noisy when it opens And when it closes, so earplugs are highly recommended for light sleepers. Besides that, the location and the facilities are great.
