前から気になっていた東京駅八重洲口至近のサービスアパートメント、この類いはアスコット丸の内を何度か利用しており、何となく心構えはできていた。 ・入口からセキュリティは厳重。自動ドアを開けるのもまずモニターに予約者名を伝える必要がある。 ・フロント横にラウンジあり。開放感のあるセンスのよいスペース。コーヒー類は自由に飲めるらしい。 ・バスタブがなくシャワーのみの部屋もあるようで、バスタブ有りで選んだらデラックススイートがそうらしく、入ったらすぐにコンパクトなキッチンとリビングルーム、奥が角部屋になっていてそこがベッドルーム、広いガラス張りの向こうに大丸が入っているグラントウキョウと東京駅八重洲口広場が見える 。この２つの部屋の間にバスルームと洗面、トイレと洗濯機、なんとビューバスになっていた。 ・リビングは広くはないが落ち受ける空間。Wi-Fiが弱いようで通信が時々途切れた。ベッドルームはカーテンを開け放すと大丸から覗かれそう。 ・パジャマは備え付けはないみたい、注文すると持ってきてもらえる。 ・高層階を希望したのだが真ん中より下の階だった。居住者もいるためか、或いは初利用だったからかはわからない。 この手の「ホテルではないがそれっぽい空間」だと承知していれば十分満足できる設え。フロントスタッフの皆さんも丁寧な対応だった。

We wanted a hotel right next to Tokyo Station as we were traveling by Shinkansen, and it doesn't get much closer than this. Like many modern hotels in Tokyo located in office towers, the actual lobby isn't on the ground level. This was a little annoying but it is what it is. Our room was spacious as expected, with views of Nihonbashi and the east side. Plenty of room to open up our big suitcases. The chaise longue next to the windows was a comfortable place to spend time on. The bathroom had a large wet room, equipped with a rainshower next to the bath tub. The glass wall meant that one could be in the bathroom and look out not only at the room, but at the rest of Tokyo if curtains were drawn. My main complaint was the shortage of TV channels with English or non-Japanese broadcast. We stayed in local Japanese hotels where they offered more international programming, so why didn't Shangri-La?! Service was otherwise fine, with check-out available via the Shangri-La app on one's mobile phone.

Location was great. Hotel entrance is right at one of the exit of the train station. Room size is decent, considering big for Tokyo size, we could open our lugagge on the floor by shifting abit. Big bonus for this hotel is the massage chair in the room! Much needed after all the walking and climbing stairs in Tokyo. Another plus point is that the TV can connect to YouTube! Will recommend and stay here again!

It's good to be near the station, but the sound of the trains and the voices of people coming out of the pub outside are very noisy. The walls are thin so you can hear voices from the next room. The shower room and toilet are clean. Animity is also available, although I don't know when. Bath towels and loungewear are also provided. Recommended for those who just need to sleep alone. I used Ueno Station Hostel Original 1 near Ueno Station while traveling to Tokyo, Japan last year. You can experience a Japanese hotel famous for its capsule hotel. There is a station right in front of it, so I recommend it to tourists who have to use public transportation. You can get off the subway late at night and enter the hostel safely. The inside of the hostel is really clean. You can see several employees cleaning up every morning. Discard them all and replace them with new pillows and blankets. I used the bathroom together but it was good to clean it up. I went on a trip in winter and walked around outside all day, so it was cold, but warm water came out of the bathroom, so it was good. There was a convenience store just downstairs, so when I was hungry at night, I could look back on my day of traveling by buying and eating food from the convenience store.

This hotel is excellent, location is very good, near many sights in Tokyo, staff are very nice, and really take consideration on our needs, will visit this hotel when we travel to Tokyo again.

Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.
