"This hotel offers great value for money. The breakfast is rich and varied, and there are many supermarkets and drugstores nearby. It's only 200 meters from Nishi-Kasai subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and at least two of them speak Chinese. I forgot my charger and went back the next day to pick it up, and they had kept it safe for me."
"It's an older hotel, right across from Shinagawa Station, making transportation incredibly convenient with access to all lines. The service is good, but the facilities are a bit dated. The price is reasonable, and I'd recommend it if you're planning to take a train from Shinagawa to explore other places."
"-We choose this hotel for layover stay and it was an excellent experience. our flight arrived late ~11pm and got an early transfer flight ~6.30am in next morning.
-walked within terminal3 and you will reach the hotel
-easy to check in and check out , 24 hour front desk
-staffs are influent in English
-we took “Run of House” very good price and it’s super clean , big and comfy room , slept well all night
-very good sound proof room
-It was so convenient for us , walked a fews hundred meters back to Terminal3 to take free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 (first bus run ~4am )
-definitely stay at this hotel again if we have a chance to transfer in Haneda or have late flight."
"I had a great stay here and would give it 5 stars. The location is excellent—very close to multiple train stations, with plenty of chain and local restaurants nearby. Convenience stores were basically on every corner, and there was even a grocery store not too far away. Akihabara was just a 20-minute walk, which was really convenient.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, including the maids we occasionally ran into. One of the front desk employees had even apologized to us that the room was slightly small. They were also very dog-friendly, which I appreciated. When we checked out, they helped load our luggage into the taxi without even being asked and had even offered earlier to call one for us since we had so much luggage.
The hotel has a small café inside that seemed popular, though I didn’t get the chance to try it. I’m not sure if their breakfast service was as big as some other hotels in Japan, but it didn’t seem like a major focus here. The only small inconvenience was the laundry room—it was often occupied, but thankfully there was a coin laundry just down the block.
The room itself was a typical Japanese hotel size, but smartly designed. The TV was mounted on the wall, leaving extra space for luggage, and I really liked the desk with shelving that gave more room to organize personal items. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but relatively spacious compared to others I’ve stayed in. Everything was clean, and I didn’t encounter any issues.
The bed was very firm, but I actually found it super comfortable after walking thousands of steps each day. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again if I had the chance."
"The hotel is very good and deserves an excellent rating.
First of all, the hotel is situated just on the southern border of the Ginza district. It is only 5 minutes by metro to the heart of Ginza, but the location is very calm. The Tsukiji metro station is situated 5 minutes away from the hotel, which is very convenient. I believe that this allows the Hotel to offer one of the best value for many offers.
The hotel is quite new and looks fresh. A good sign I noticed is that there were many Japanese business travelers, who are quite discerning.
The room was tiny but very clean. As it was my first time in Japan, I was surprised that the bathroom ceiling was approximately 2 meters high, so with my height, I had to bend a little to wash my hair. The bathtub was so tiny that it was barely possible to sit down in it. I would like to stress that there is nothing wrong with the hotel; it is just a standard bathroom for all 3-star hotels across Japan. I traveled around Japan for about 2 weeks and can say with confidence that all 3-star hotels have essentially the same bathroom.
There are not many cafes around, so it was quite challenging to find a good ”continental” breakfast. The hotel serves breakfast, but since there are many domestic travelers as well as Chinese tourists, the breakfast is more Asian-style (noodles, grilled fish, etc.). Nevertheless, I managed to find something more familiar to me (omelette, croissant, coffee, etc.).
The front desk personnel speak English well and are very helpful.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Mr. Wu, who was working the night shift (Nov 4–Nov 5). The next morning I had a bus from Tokyo main station to Kawaguchiko. For those who don’t know, it can take ages to find the right platform at Tokyo station, as it is an incredibly large central station. Mr. Wu managed to find the correct departure platform, wrote a notice on how to find it (just take a look at how well it is structured), booked a taxi, and finally went out to explain to the taxi driver where to take me. That is what I call truly dedicated customer service. Dear Ginza Capital Hotel Akane management, your colleagues like Mr. Wu are your most valuable asset; please take care of such colleagues. I look forward to coming back to your hotel again!"
"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right near the Asakusa Bridge exit, just a few minutes' walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including ramen shops, yakitori restaurants, and izakayas, all with good food. There are also convenience stores and duty-free shops.
The hotel rooms, though small, are clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities, and the beds are very comfortable. Check-in and check-out are self-service, which is very convenient."
"The hotel is near Tokyo dome, Akihabara is also about 20 minutes walk.
The room is quite small like your average Tokyo hotel, but enough for one person.
There is no breakfast available but they do have complementary bread and drinks in the morning, free drinks are also available from afternoon to midnight.
Good place for value of money."
"I booked this hotel specifically for a concert, and its proximity to Makuhari Messe made it incredibly convenient – just a 10-minute walk! You can take an express airport bus directly here from Narita Airport. There's an outlet mall right across the street, and a large shopping center is just a 10-minute drive away, making it excellent for shopping. Although it's in the suburbs, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so finding food and drinks isn't an issue. The JR station is only a 3-4 minute walk, and you can take the Chiba Line directly to Disneyland and the city center without any transfers. I was extremely satisfied with the transportation options!
The hotel room was on the smaller side, especially the bathroom. In a double room, the bathroom was barely big enough for one person, and the low ceiling might be inconvenient for taller guests. However, the hotel itself was very clean, and housekeeping tidied the rooms daily.
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Although they didn't speak Chinese, English communication was perfectly fine. They assisted with booking taxis and storing luggage without any problems.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I was very satisfied with the value for money at this price point. It's definitely a great choice for anyone attending concerts!"
"We had a wonderful family stay at Tokyo Dome Hotel. The location was perfect — right next to Tokyo Dome City with plenty of entertainment, food options, and easy access to the subway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful city views.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in smooth and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our child enjoyed the nearby attractions, and it made exploring Tokyo so convenient for the whole family.
Overall, a great experience and a hotel we would happily return to on our next trip to Tokyo. Highly recommended for families!"
"Overall, I'm very satisfied! We booked last minute, and for around 600+ yen a night, it was a great deal. They have a 24-hour front desk, DHC toiletries, and it's close to Inaricho subway station. Honestly, getting anywhere in Tokyo by subway feels convenient. The room was indeed small, quite narrow, and the space utilization was low. The bed was on the softer side. There's no laundry room, so we had to go out to find a coin-operated one. The closest one seemed to be open from 7 AM to 10 PM, so we ended up walking about 400 meters to do our laundry. There was no air conditioning, and in November, they only had central heating, which was way too warm for me! It wasn't until the third day that I remembered to open the window for some ventilation and cooler air."

1110206****This hotel is a hidden gem, located just about 100 meters from Shinjuku JR Station. Despite being in a quiet spot, it's surrounded by a very bustling commercial area with many large department stores, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. There's an express train that goes directly to the airport in about an hour. The room size is quite generous; you can open two large suitcases, which is a real bonus for Tokyo. Definitely recommended!

GGuest UserVery convenient just 5mins to Shinjuku Station. Very clean and most importantly, ample space to open our suitcase wide, seldom seen in most Tokyo hotels. Space is wisely designed for guests’ good usage. Tv many local and overseas channels. Totally value for money, will stay again for sure

ZZhengzhuoxiahuashuoyanjingThe hotel is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from Akihabara Station, a short walk from the JR exit. The front desk has English-speaking staff to assist with check-in. If you sign up as a member during check-in, you can choose between a gashapon or a 1-hour late check-out.
Japanese hotel rooms are generally small, but they are impeccably clean. Most hotels in Tokyo don't offer complimentary bottled water, but the front desk gave us two bottles upon arrival, and the tap water is potable. Each floor also has vending machines and microwaves, though the hotel's vending machines only accept cash, no card payments.
Breakfast is served next to the front desk, but it's not very appealing to a Chinese palate. However, there are plenty of Starbucks and convenience stores nearby where you can grab a bite.
The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite being right next to the railway, it's not noisy at all.

Ssulee17Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in!
The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings.
The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

__M1382977****The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right outside the subway exit. The room wasn't particularly small either.
There's a corner in the lobby with various alcoholic beverages where you can mix your own cocktails. It's wonderful to fix yourself a drink after coming back from a hot summer day out!
They don't clean the rooms daily, which is great because you don't have to worry about being disturbed, and it's environmentally friendly. Fresh towels are hung on the door daily, so you never have to worry about not having clean towels.
If you need your room cleaned, you can just let the front desk know.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also won’t store your luggage after you check out so if you’re planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well located close to a subway stop (2 subway lines available), plenty of food / shopping options and a chill vibe. It was not very loud and. I found walking around the area to be enjoyable- not too crowded or overly busy. It feels more local than other touristy neighborhoods, but with all the perks of a nice and well maintained, trendy area.
The staff are helpful, kind and knowledgeable, they were always able to help with any problem or question I had.
I ended up extending my stay by 2 extra days because of the service and excellent location!

WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.
