This hotel boasts excellent transport links, being just a 5-minute walk from Ueno-Okachimachi Station, 10 minutes from Ueno Station, and a mere 3 minutes from Suehirocho Station on the Ginza line. Ueno Park is also conveniently located only 7 minutes away. The only downsides are the absence of breakfast and a fitness center.

The hotel is conveniently located near Kuramae Station, with an elevator at the A5 exit. There's a hot spring on the second floor; the front desk provides keys, so if a key is available, there should be an empty locker. I didn't get to use it this time. Right across from the hotel is a small Aeon supermarket, and downstairs there's a cafe with reasonable prices.

The room is spacious and more comfortable than typical Japanese hotels. It can accommodate up to 5 people with one queen-sized single bed and a sofabed that sleeps two. There's an extra futon in the closet. It comes fully equipped with dishes, hangers, a microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, and a bathtub. The Wi-Fi is strong, and the TV supports Netflix and YouTube apps (you'll need to use your own account). Basically, it has everything you need; just bring your clothes. You can do basic cooking, but gas stoves are not permitted. We got it for 5000 yen per night for 4 people, which is incredibly cheap for the Asakusa area. I highly recommend it! However, it might be a bit of a walk to the Ginza Line, though the Asakusa Line is very close. There's a 7-Eleven about 300 meters from the hotel.
Upon check-in, there's no traditional front desk; you enter a code. The hotel will send you the code and instructions on the day of your booking.

Location is located in Ameyoko market, not far away from Ueno station and Okachimachi station. Public bath is in 12F with open hours 15:00 to 10:00. There is the sauna in Public bath. Hotel offer Ice bar/cream for the guests after bathing in Comic room next to Public bath. Hotel-made ramen is available every night from 21:30 to 23:00, which I did not try because I do not use to take late meal after dinner. Breakfast is great.

The location is a bit far from Uguisu-dani subway station. I had a slight issue during check-in, which Ctrip helped me resolve by calling them. I stayed for five nights, and towels were only provided upon arrival, but I didn't bother asking the hotel for more. The price was good.

Guest UserThe location is excellent, very close to Keisei Ueno, JR Ueno Station, and the subway. Check-in is on the 20th floor, offering a nice view, including the Tokyo Tower. For multiple-night stays, cleaning is done every few days, but one day they forgot until I reminded them.

Facilities: basically complete
Hygiene: OK
Environment: Indoor is OK. The outside is a bit unexpected and I dare not recognize it.
Service: Yes
The location is very good. It is very convenient for transportation, eating and shopping. There is no elevator on the 4th floor, so you need to bear the weight of your luggage.

Ksenia2712I'd like to point out the apartment's excellent location: the building is right next to the metro exit. The view from the balcony is excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet, with plenty of convenience stores nearby, a 10-minute walk to the SkyTower shopping center, and plenty of nice restaurants nearby. It's interesting that when you step outside, it's very quiet, but in the apartment with the open balcony, you can hear a lot of traffic noise.
There was enough space for three of us, but the fold-out sofa isn't very comfortable. We used a mattress, an extra blanket, and a blanket underneath ourselves to soften it, but overall, we didn't have any problems, such as back pain.
The apartment includes an iron, a microwave, and other kitchen appliances. There's a washing machine, but it wasn't plugged in, so we didn't bother fixing it ourselves. There was a hair dryer, but it was very weak and dusty. When you turn it on, it starts to smell burnt, so we didn't use it.
The apartment itself is in good condition, but it feels like it could quickly become too old.
Aside from the hair dryer, there was a dirty sheet in the linen set. We informed the owner, who apologized and offered to send a new set, but we only found another sheet.
We also mentioned that there would be three of us staying, but the ”sofa” wasn't made, so we had to make it ourselves.

Dirty, they only changed the bed linen and vacuumed the visible parts of the carpet. The corners were full of dirt, dust, and trash. The extra mattress was on the floor. The room smelled terrible, and the smell wouldn't air out. The location is convenient, but it's only good for a quick overnight stay and leaving early. Communication is only through email, and the reception desk is always empty. The towels were old; although they had been washed, the stains wouldn't come out.
