Location was great, less than 10min walking to Ueno Station and lots and lots of places to eat and walk around until late if you wish, very safe, staff was great and very kind and friendly. I will definitely redone and would stay again at Tomariya. The bed looked and was clean, have 4 toilets in the women’s room and three showers with shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Toilets and shower very clean too. Hairdryer and cotton swabs in the bathroom (: They offer free water, have microwave and small fridge at the lobby in case you want to use it. Vending machine Laundry and dryer on site I didn’t use it but I believe you will have to pay for this service. Best hostal I’ve ever seen so far

Overall, though, a very nice stay, but the place will become more popular and more expensive soon.

I expected that the hotel could provide better amenities at a price point of around 132usd a night for a room of around 11m2 with a super-single bed.
