The whole place is insane! The staff are incredible - everything is above and beyond all the time. Aside from an incredibly polished experience, the accommodations are top notch, comfy, cozy, breathtaking. We'll definitely be bringing people back. As a few tired healthcare workers, this was more than recharging.

Outstanding service, very knowledgeable guides, beautiful location and accommodations. A variety of tours offered. Especially enjoyed the birding, cacao, and Mayan experiences. Husband caught many bonefish with the Garbutt family.

What a wonderful experience I had. I came here Solo for a few days away from the real world. So glad I did. The atmosphere here is just amazing. The staff is so warm and attentive and the food is out of this world. Local charm and true Belizian hospitality. Thank you Copal Tree Lodge

Didn't live up to our expectations
The staff are very friendly though the service is variable and often slow. The furniture in the rooms needs updating. Inconsistent pricing with the wines. Different price in the bar to the restaurant. 30 dollor difference. They had ran out of a Cantena Alta Malbec and offered as a standard Catena Malbec at the same price, despite representations from us that this was clearly wrong. We feel the tours are over priced. The problem is that they have you as a captive audience as there are no alternative options to take up due to the remoteness of the location

Absolutely incredible staff, beautiful scenery and fresh food! Every person we met was kind, thoughtful and helpful and really made the experience amazing. Ducky makes the best daiquiris I’ve had, and Elons healing nature walk were some of my favorite parts of the trip. Great first trip to Belize!

This was an incredible experience and the most relaxing vacation of our life. We were able to experience so many different outings, while always returning to a luxurious suite and welcoming staff. As two non-fishing guests, one of whom does not even eat fish or seafood, we had a complete and wonderful time. We wish we could stay longer, as there is more we wanted to do. The canopy suite was worth it, the views are once in a lifetime, and the food delicious. We will return.

This place is magical. The friendliest attentive staff and no detail is missed. From the minute we arrived we knew this was something special. The delicious and detailed farm to table foods from the talented Chef Yvette were always amazing. The hotel itself was as lovely with fresh flower arrangements from the garden in every space. We felt looked after in a deeply personal way. Plenty of activities to take part in and a deep quiet on a morning kayak ride will stay in my memory. We hope to come again.

Lovely lodge is perfect surroundings. Staff were very friendly and the food and cocktails were great. Particularly enjoyed the distillery tour and run tasting. The bird life in the gardens is also amazing, and being woken by howler monkeys a real treat
