The hotel is very clean overall. The bathtub and shower are together, so children will not be afraid of the cold while bathing and playing in the bathtub, and will not flood other places with water. The breakfast has a rich variety, the fried dumplings are quite delicious, and the fried chicken is freshly fried, which children like better. However, there are relatively few seats, so if there are many guests, you will have to wait. When I checked out the next day, I was given a souvenir, which should be a piggy bank to relieve the boredom of the children on the way.

Although we only stayed for one evening it was a most pleasurable one. I have very basic Chinese language skills (i.e. None) but the staff were very patient and helpful. It also helped that I had taken a Chinese friend with me for the short break. Check in was swift and only took around 5 minutes considering I needed to provide all my documentation and covid codes etc. Again the staff were great an made us feel very welcome. The room was huge with two almost Double beds, a huge bathroom and giant circular bathtub as well as a shower. The mini bar was well stocked and there was a dressing room as well as robes, slippers etc. After a few minutes settling in we were treated to a gift of fresh fruit which was very much appreciated. The beds were super comfortable and we slept well after we returned from an evening out in Tonglu. In the morning the breakfast was typical Chinese buffet and was delicious though we didn't eat too much due to our previous evenings dinner. Even though I was clearly the only Westerner in the Hotel at that point I was made to feel very welcome by every single person I encountered....both staff and guests. I would highly recommend a stay here if you should ever visit Tonglu.
