There was no offer to assist us with the luggage and we had to use stairs. Reception was very friendly and gave a quiet room as requested. However the room is far away from the gym and pool. Room is nice but small. The down side of our trip was the room service that did the beds but did not clean up the bar and there was no conditioner top up throughout the stay. Requesting refill etc was quite disruptive to our evening as the staff could not fulfil the requested properly without multiple visits. They have a nice luggage room and allow guest to keep their belongings safely. Generally we had a better experience at the Fairmont in Montréal.

It was lovely to complete out trip using Via Rail, to roll across the street and there it was. It was a relaxed, lovely 5 days we spent at the Fairmont. Great swimming pool, the cleaners were lovely and efficient. Didn't eat there but so many places nearby for us to access. Finished our 3 week week trip through Canada with great style

The location is really convinient and the breakfast is good

Hotel was close to amenities. Easy to get to different parts of Toronto as it is close to the train stations. Fuss free.

Nice hotel.

The hotel is an old hotel. There is no parking lot, and parking is very difficult. The hotel is in the city center, and the surrounding traffic is congested, so it is impossible to park and ask. The room is a bit small, and the facilities in the room are a bit old. There is an elderly waiter for breakfast, who is very good, can observe the expressions and understand the requirements of people who do not understand English.

The hotel opened in 1929 and was most recently renovated in 2019. It has both historical heritage and modern elegance. The hotel is just 20 meters away from the exit of Union Station. Because Union Station integrates the subway, train, airport line, and shopping mall, it is convenient for hotel guests to go anywhere.

I booked a deluxe double room, which was twice as spacious as the Alban room, and I was satisfied with the amenities provided. This hotel is located right across from Union Station and is ideal for sightseeing.
