I had some familiarity with the lore of the Fairmont Royal York -- that it was the real deal, king of the classic Canadian grans railway hotels, etc. And when I arrived, my first impression was that perhaps it didn't live up to its formidable reputation. It quickly became clear, however -- from looking at the quality and design of the armchair, the understated colour palette, the quietly sophisticated art hanging on the walls, the sumptuous nature of the robe hanging there in the closet -- that this was a kind of luxury and prestige that didn't feel the need to prove itself. With so many four- and five-star hotels taking part in a glitzy, maximal globalization-era ”look at this, this here, you see, is luxury,” it was truly refreshing to see real self-confidence -- real prestige -- in this kind of vaguely British understated quality. The Fairmont Royal York is the Fairmont Royal York: it will not let you down.

Was okay. Not great, not terrible, could be better. Pros Location. Close to restaurants, CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium. Starbucks in building Comfy bed Housekeeping comes daily Quiet Cons Not all rooms have couch/sofa bed Bathroom door doesn’t have a lock, it’s a sliding door No blackout shades so room gets bright as som comes up $50 to valet and 35 to park at a lot around the corner Our bathroom didn’t feel clean, had a smell Hotel seems more for business not for couples or family Pool area is in lower level, doesn’t look like pictures, no window Dirty dishes from room service from another room was in the hall for 3 days and no one picked it up I had requested a higher floor room, asked for a room with a sofa bed…and extra towels. I got none of the requested. Was offered a cot. Sometimes you get back from excursions you want to kick off your shoes and relax on couch with your other half not get in the bed all sweaty and dirty…we got a room with a single chair. The cot was so uncomfortable with a huge dip in the middle. Room on 2nd floor had a view of valet. No extra towels provided. Only gave you new water bottles on first day. I felt like the room was overpriced. Bathroom had a smell to it. Mildew maybe? Couldn’t pinpoint the smell.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.

Location is good. just 2-3 mins walk to College Station. Breakfast is nice at the restaurant in lobby floor. It’s also easy to find restaurants in Yonge Street, just 6-15 mins walk to North or South or take TTC to other place. You could book a Niagara Falls & pick-up at the hotel.

The hotel has only 17 floors, and the others are apartments, which are generally good - swimming pool 🏊🏻 sauna - gym is great👍👍👍 But the use of lockers in the locker room is inside the cabinet door, so pay attention to it! The free amount of breakfast is 112 dollars, and if you exceed it, you may pay the difference yourself. The hotel lobby is far from Shangri-La in China! Maybe the national conditions are different.

Good location and nice king size bed room Just wifi needs to pay and free for Marriott member only I am the Marriott member but during the check out , it charges me wifi fee , after discussion, then it was waived as I am the member , I would suggest to Offer free wifi for hotel customers as this is very common in all other high class hotels

A hotel with very good hardware. In the end, it is a five-star evaluation. It is directly connected to the super stadium and is definitely the best choice for those who love exercise. Check-in also encountered art exhibitions, the restaurant on the second floor is also very good

The location is perfect, a ten-minute walk from the Union Station and just adjacent to the ferry pier to Toronto Island. The ferry just cost 8.70 CAD for round trip for 20 mins. It is a nice place to visit, especially those who enjoy nature. We booked a room facing the lake, which is highly recommended. It is a real picture taken in the early morning from the window. The room service is nice and the buffet breakfast with lots of varieties of food. I needed to have a zoom meeting, and the internet service is stable. Though it is a paid service, it was waived as I am Bonvoy Member. Do join their membership.

The location of Delta Hotel is close to Toronto attractions, and the public transport is convenient. I stayed in room 1011, the room facilities are not bad, and the requirements can meet the requirements of customers. I just don’t know whether it was intentional or unintentional. There were water droplets on the floor at the door of Room 1011; when I checked in, the female receptionist at the front desk was a bit arrogant; after the free buffet breakfast the next morning, in the afternoon Without my knowledge, the hotel charged my credit card for breakfast and a tip deposit; one morning, the hotel staff even forgot to clean up the room, you know, the hotel cleans up my room every day

Went here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary….yes, we stayed by Toronto airport to celebrate our anniversary lol! We had stayed here a few months ago for a convention and loved this hotel! Rooms were very clean, comfy beds and linens and the pool is HUGE! We decided we wanted 2 days of pure R&R. We spent the entire time at the huge indoor pool and had it all to ourselves, practically the entire time! Water temp was perfect, as was the hot tub. We ate breakfast each morning at the Orchid cafe in hotel and WOW….best eggs Benedict we ever had! Staff were superb as well. We got room service one night and had two different pizzas and wings and again, superb! The wings were really good. It was such a relaxing getaway, as all we wanted to do was laze around the hotel, instead of rushing out sightseeing or shopping, which we have done so many times before. This was true relaxation :) We are actually planning our next stay here! Thanks to all staff at hotel :)
