My 8yo daughter & I stayed at the Trelawney Hotel over the Easter break. Liz & Paul are fantastic hosts & run a really beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate with everything you could need- we were there a week & so comfortable! The breakfasts are fantastic- really! Perfect poached eggs every time! Liz & Paul were so friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. They’ve thought of little details that make all the difference, such as bottled water in the room on arrival & reliable wifi, as well as recommendations for local bars & restaurants & the nearest pharmacy! They have a really efficient breakfast ordering system & they run everything like clockwork! The location is fab too- close to beach & town- the land train stops just a couple of doors down too so it’s easy to hop on! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay & I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Both Liz and Paul were very welcoming when we arrived at Trelawney. They were friendly and extremely helpful, suggesting and recommending places to visit around Torquay. The room was excellent, with lots of space, and was very clean and tidy. The hotel itself was easy to find and was located at a perfect distance from the seafront and shops. The breakfast was amazing, with quility produce and a great variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trelawney and will definitely be staying here again the next time we come down to Torquay.

Writing on behalf of my mum and step-dad. Firstly - she's not one for reviews but insisted that she gives praise where its due. We checked in last minute on the day, met by Liz and Paul. What wonderful host they are. Laid paid, professional and welcoming, made us feel at ease and explained everything clearly. I very rarely stay anyway and actually 'enjoy' the stay. This hotel is spotless, fresh, inviting and super comfortable. Cleanliness is spot on and extra touches like the honesty bar are a really lovely gesture. The room was cosy, comfy and we had a great sleep, followed by a delicious well cooked breakfast. (This is a super endorsement from me - as I'm super fussy) . All in all would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you. Carol and Kevin.

This is a beautiful hotel and absolutely spotless. The ambience is very pleasant and we had no problems checking in. The breakfast was very freshly cooked and really a ten out of ten! We were met buy Liz and given clear instructions when she handed over the keys. We could have made use of an honesty bar, but came back a little late. It is certainly a good touch to have this as a service.

Lovely Hotel great hosts, very helpful with where to go and what there is to do. Lovely Breakfast fruit cereals jucies and full English with toast all offered. Lovely room with all your needs met, it was my partners birthday and they made it special for him,with Balloons, card choc etc.

The hotel was very clean and we could not fault anything. The breakfast was out standing and plentiful and Paul and Liz were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble we will definitely be revisiting the hotel. The hotel is close to all amenities and the owners will recommend places for you to eat and places to visit

What a delightful gem. Liz & Paul are a lovely couple who made us so welcome it felt like home. Our room was wonderful. Really comfortable bed, tea& coffee making facilities. Fresh bottles of water, cookies. There was a fan & mini fridge for us to use. Breakfast was freshly made & plentiful. Choices were fantastic. We asked for recommendations for places to eat & not one of them disappointed us. We will definitely be returning to this lovely place. Thank you so much Liz & Paul for a lovely stay.

We stayed at the Trelawney Hotel for 3 nights to attend a family function. It was perfect for us. The room and en-suite bath/shower room, although small were spotlessly clean and cleaned and tidied on a daily basis. The cooked breakfast was very good and there was a kettle, tea/coffee etc in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Our impression was that every effort was being made to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again.

Extremely clean , beautiful decor , friendly atmosphere and staff , great location , all amenities within walking distance , and breakfast was amazing . I would highly recommend this hotel im not one for writing reviews but once in a while i go to a place and they go above and beyond and this was definitely one of them times beautiful decor close to everything beach, shops ex . To the owners keep doing what your doing 100% best place in Torquay in my opinion 👍
