Trecarn Hotel
"Everything was on point. The staff was lovely. Especially the night staff"
Hampton by Hilton Torquay
"Amazing stay at Hampton Hilton Torquay.Great location for town centre shops and bars. The hotel itself was very modern and well equipped with facilities. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. Will definitely recommend to others. The breakfast was very good, with lots of quality food and drinks."
Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG
"The rooms are clean, the location is great, and the staff are very willing to help and resolve issues efficiently."
The Imperial Torquay
"Excellent view and location , nice and very kind staff, but the cleanliness could be much better.however the room is very big but there is no refrigerator inside the room .and there is very well balcony with fabulous view but we are allowed to use it unfortunately, they said because of health and safety."
Tor Park Hotel
"This used to be a great hotel ,now it's dirty and more like a half way house for council unfortunately."
Abbey Sands Hotel
"The outside of the hotel needs sprucing up, the inside is tired too, but our room was huge. A slight sea view too. The staff were all lovely, breakfast was great too. The location was a pleasant walk away from the Princess Theatre. Plenty of places to eat along the way too."
The Headland Hotel & Spa
"The room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call. The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy."
The Grand Hotel
"A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience Many thanks"
Kethla House
"Large nicely decorated room with comfortable bed Downstairs room on busy road was very noisy despite double glazing Good breakfast but we were allotted a time that was not convenient On-site parking very limited and we could not find free on street parking Torquay town within walking distance but is now very run down I don’t think we will be returning"

Trelawney Hotel - Guest House
"Outstanding service. Liz and Paul are always happy to help day or night. The hotel and rooms are lovely and clean and they serve an amazing fresh breakfast. Everyone is really friendly and it is a welcoming atmosphere."
The Heritage Hotel
Livermead Cliff Hotel
"Stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding. Can’t fault the service at all, plenty of staff who were efficient, very friendly and worked seamlessly to ensure excellent service. The service at the wedding was also brilliant, all meals were delivered at the same time and the food delicious and plentiful. The room was clean and nicely decorated and furnished; no aircon but there was a fan and we had 2 windows looking over the sea and towards the town. There is an old fashioned lift which is quite small and the bathroom was rather ‘bijou’ but neither of these things can be changed so it is what it is. There is a large lounge and terrace with wonderful views."
Abingdon House
"Just like all the previous reviews Billy & Shona were absolutely fantastic hosts, and we couldn't have asked for more. Extremely welcoming and helpful, room was spotless and the bed linen had fantastic fragrance, great wi-fi ,plenty information on restaurants etc, shower very powerful and to round it off what a great choice of breakfast and cooked to perfection. If I'm ever in torquay I wouldn't even bother looking anywhere else. This to me was perfection. Thank you, Billy, and Shona"
Elmdene
"Just returned from another break at the amazing Elmdene. Kim and Trev always make us feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Everything is always spotless. Spoilt for choice at breakfast. The location is in a quiet area, near all amenities. Ample of car parking including an electric charging point. We never want to come home, so relaxing! Many thanks Kim and Trev xx"
Tyndale B&B Torquay
"This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The hosts David & Tonny welcomed us into their beautiful home and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were spoilt with sparkling wine and delicious home made cake. There are not enough superlatives to describe this place and the breakfast was superb. We will definitely be returning."
Carlton Court
"What a gem of a place. In a quiet area of Torquay, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast was exceptional. The main point of this wonderful place are the owners, Lynn and Paul, who make you feel like you are friends rather than paying guests and make you feel like you have just walked into their home and are so welcome to do so. Thank you for a memorable stay."
Court Prior Boutique B&B and Apartment
"Having walked straight back out of our original booking in Exeter, we arrived in Torquay only an hour and a half after booking Court Prior from a very quick internet search ! Pauline and Anthony were extremely welcoming and our room was fantastic - super comfy bed, plenty of space, lovely en-suite. Their attention to detail is amazing - having opted for Earl Grey tea at breakfast, we returned from our day out to find supplies had been left in our room also. The breakfast are great - wide choice of fresh local produce - it makes such a difference to have food cooked to order. There is a lovely lounge downstairs, well stocked with books and dvds, and each floor has a small fridge on the landing for drinks - with ice provided. We had a lovely 5 night stay - a great location for exploring the area - and would thoroughly recommend! "
Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults
"The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!"
Halekulani Devon
"We had a great time at Halekulani Devon homestay. Anne is a terrific host that provider excellent information to make our stay in Torquay even better!"
Nethway Hotel
"Great hotel Great hosts Accommodation average for a few days clean and tidy."
The Devon Court
"Luxury feel throughout, friendly relaxed hosts, excellent breakfast, a great base for a break in Torquay. Very happy customer"
TLH Derwent Hotel - TLH Leisure, Entertainment and Spa Resort
"The rooms were very dated and the shower falling apart! We told them about the shower door and they said they'd sort it. They sorted on but broke the other so they didn't close properly. The whole building smelt of smoke."
Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa
"Nice and clean hotel"
TLH Victoria Hotel - TLH Leisure, Entertainment and Spa Resort
Anchorage Hotel & Spa
"The hotel was located in an ideal location for touring around Devon with a couple of cars. All the staff provided excellent service & were very flexible in allowing us to order food in for the evening, especially as most of our group were vegetarian/vegan."
