This hotel has amazing sea views from the terrace, some hotel rooms (well worth the upgrade!) and the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent, with amazing choice, it was cooked perfectly.

This hotel has beautiful views over the bay. I stayed 4 nights on a dinner, bed & Breakfast deal. The menu is changed daily and the food was lovely, there is also a less formal menu in the bar. There is nightly entertainment and I have to say it was enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. Parking is opposite the hotel and along the road, but the hotel is located at the end of the road that leads to a footpath. I walked into Torquay to take a boat trip, it took less than 15 minutes, it’s about 3/4 mile but it was all downhill!! Made the mistake of walking back and there are a couple of steep hills!! My next trip into town was walk in and taxi back (costs around £5….but well worth it!) the lady on reception was really helpful giving me recommended taxi numbers and advice on where to be picked up as Torquay has major roadworks and 4-way temp traffic lights! I’ve had a lovely relaxing break and will definitely return.

Lovely hotel with great views, wonderful staff, a credit to the hotel. Great food and we felt a good choice for breakfast and evening meals. Would definitely stay again. Lovely beach just a short walk, but be aware it’s a steep walk back. The hotel is on a hill but we got a taxi for a few pounds back up as it was raining and late. We didn’t use the spa so cannot comment.

This hotel is has amazing views and the staff are exceptional. The food is great. The only downside is the parking, the lack of parking is the only reason we would not come back

Lovely Hotel in a good location and very quiet at night time so you get a good sleep. Only problem is there are lots of steep hills to get to it.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary but didn’t feel the hotel was as good as we had expected. The room needed updating, things didn’t work, lamps, extraction fan, couldn’t turn off radiator, furniture tired, the bed was awful as two single pushed together which didn’t stay together so extremely uncomfortable. Reception were not overly friendly. The spa doesn’t look appealing and you have to pay £10 per person per visit even tho you are staying at the hotel which we’ve never experienced before.
