We came here for tea following my Dad's cremation. It's in a beautiful location, the staff were lovely, the service was efficient and it was all absolutely perfect and exactly as I had hoped it would be. Very many thanks to the team for making a difficult day that little bit better

We had such an amazing stay here. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Absolutely amazing food with fantastic service. Stunning setting and very cosy feel. Will definitely return.

Yet another wonderful break, thank you to all at the Orestone! It's like 'coming home' - comforting and with the knowledge that all is thought of by the smiling, obliging staff. Karen is always bright and cheerful as are the waiting staff and Craig - well, he's a master host and anyone staying here is lucky to find such a welcoming, accommodating sanctuary. It restores one's faith in just how a superb boutique hotel should be run with an excellent kitchen to boot. Well done and thank you all!

Orestone Manor is a lovely small family run hotel which gets practically everything right. The staff are lovely - full of smiles and help without being over the top. We had a deluxe room (Room 3) which was large and comfortable with a good seating area and a lovely view to the sea. Of course, it is an old hotel so the fact that the floor has a little slope shouldn't be a surprise. Trying to find something negative is a problem but here goes! The shower is small and has only has a waterfall shower head. There is no way of adjusting th flow and when it is on, it really is a waterfall! The problem is that the shower is so small that there is no way of avoiding it. hardly a disaster. There is also a bath but no grab handles which is a problem for oldies! The restaurant is even better. The breakfasts are good but the evening meals are exceptional. The menu is relatively small but everything we had over our three day stay was great and each day there were some changes.

My wife and I have visited the Orestone for many years. Last evening we had the valentines dinner. Each course was outstanding. The fillet steak melted in your mouth. The staff were excellent as always. A perfect evening in superb surroundings. Thank you.

A beautiful manor house with friendly staff and great sea views. Although we were in the smallest room it was really lovely with all the amenities you need including a fridge with complimentary water. The only downside would be the size of the bath towels which could have been bigger and some fresh milk instead of the capsules.
Breakfast and dinner were absolutely fantastic with great service and attention to detail. Highly recommended if you are thinking of staying in the area.

Great hotel and the staff were excellent. The hotel restaurant is superb. The breakfast is very good and great value. The dinner menu is exceptionally good as is the service.
Nice quiet location but Teignmouth and Torquay are easily accessible by car or bus.

Stayed one night dinner, bed and breakfast to celebrate our anniversary. We live locally and wanted somewhere not too far away as we were leaving teenagers alone for the first time. Our stay really exceeded expectations. All the staff were fantastic and made us feel really welcome. We had the four poster suite which is enormous with wonderful sea views and a really comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent- beautifully cooked and more food than we could eat. The whole package was great value and I couldn’t fault our stay- thanks to all the team. We hope to come back!
