First of all you should know that when you book at the Hotel Florida online it is the photos of the Hotel Florida with its swimming pool that you see....which is located 5 minutes away on foot. The Floridita is an annex or rather a youth hostel. The rooms are very clean but very spartan, in short...the problem is that young English people generally book in this place crowded together and wander from room to room in the corridors shouting, slamming doors at all hours at night without worrying about the neighbors, especially since there is no reception or security guards and sometimes you have to avoid coming across these hordes of savages in the corridors. So avoid for couples with children

Perfect and cheap alternative. The room was fine, but the lighting was far too bright. No other option than full roof light. Missing bedside lamp or option to dim the light. The bathroom was cramped. The advertisement states that the Hostel has parking. It is true to some extent, but it was always full outside and the space was not dedicated to the place. We never found a place for the rental car during the week we were there. Had to look for parking down in town and walk approx. 20 - 30 minutes every day. Tiresome with a sore foot. The roof veranda shown in the main picture in the ad was not available. We came in once and then it was the cleaner who locked us in. Our key card didn't work for the back door. No sunbeds were deployed. The place was very quiet and especially at night when others came home from the fortress in the city it was noticeable. Therefore not recommended for people who want to sleep through the night. This was not in the busiest season, so expect even more noise in high season. Otherwise a short way to beaches on both sides.

Hostel is value for money. Room is a clean and modern.
But you must to know.
Chcek-in is a different Hotel 5 min walk this could confusing when you have transfer.
"Solarium" roof area doesn't look as on the picture no sunbeds.

Where to start the bed/pillow is extremely bad! There are no staff on site so the place is out of control random people banging on our door at 5am and the hall ways extremely loud 5am. Didn’t mind coming back from the clubs but at 5am is a joke. Never again thanks

Nice and cheap hostel. Very good room service, cleaning every day. Good location - in quite part of Magaluf but close to pubs and center. Modest but functional furniture. Small but clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast served in Florida Hotel. Possibility to use bar, pool and teras in Florida Hotel. Sometimes a bit noisy in the night when guys were going back from pub. :-)
