Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda

Just returned from a fabulous stay at this hotel. Perfect location, few minutes walk away from the main local shops, 2 supermarkets and most importantly the beautiful lake. Bus and ferry connections are brilliant and reliable with the bus station and ferry port also a few minutes walk from the hotel. A point of note is that when traveling with a travel company previously we were lead to believe that the public transport system is not reliable but we have not at all experienced this. The 482 bus runs hourly to/from Verona airport and Garda bus station between June and September. The rest of the year you can get a bus from the airport to Verona centre and a number of different buses run from there to Garda. We had a standard double room (Garda room) on the 3rd floor which had a fairly large balcony with enough room for 2 adults to stretch out on and look at a lovely view of the town and the side of the lake (even tho our room wasn't described as a lake view room). Very clean and modern with plenty of space and storage. Massive shower in the bathroom. Decent size Kettle with mugs, glasses and various teas provided in room which was a nice surprise compared to other places we have stayed in Italy. The breakfast was excellent, varied and tasty. We didn't try the evening meals but there are lots of good restaurants nearby, our favourite being Pegaso round the corner. Had a few drinks from the pool bar which were great (the Hugo and Latte macchiato were my drinks of choice) and not too expensive for a 4 star hotel being around 3 euros for hot drinks and 5-8 euros for alcohol. The pool itself was brilliant, large and heated with stunning views. Plenty of sun loungers, my understanding was the hotel was pretty full during our stay but there was always space by the pool. The staff were super friendly and helpful and communication from booking via email and in person were excellent. We will be back!

My wife and myself stayed at this Hotel chosen by my granddaughter as a base to celebrate her 21st.Our bedroom was comfortable and had a nice balcony athough looking at next door apartments.The roof area was a good place to have a drink and enjoy the beautiful views.The meals were varied and tasty every evening and breakfast had hot and cold buffet.I took ill and the staff were so helpful and I was seen by a doctor within 20mins. They sent for my medicine and it duly delivered by staff.Head waiter was so kind and sent me soup to have in my room next night.It isn't nice to take ill on holiday but we felt safe and reassured and managed to enjoy a couple of days in the sunshine afterwards.We met some lovely guests too and would chat outside in a pleasant seating area.We will certainly be back here again so a big thankyou to everyone on the team.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Complementary drinks on arrival were a nice touch. Spotless rooms.

The pillows on the beds were very soft and maybe a firmer alternative would be good for clients with neck or back issues. Quality and food was excellent, everything was cooked well and hot.

Very clean modern small (about 45 rooms) in excellent location. Good rooftop swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good cold choice but hot offering was usually lukewarm and limited. Evening meal was a la carte and could have been hotter. 4 courses chosen from set menu each morning for evening consumption.

This is a lovely hotel that sits back from the lakeside but has a fantastic lake view from the rooftop bar and pool. Friendly staff and a great base to explore Lake Garda. Would stay again.

This was our first stay at this hotel, despite visiting Garda several times over the past twelve years. We picked this hotel as the reviews are very good and although we usually go B&B we decided to go half board as it was a little early in the season and it might be too cold to eat on the lakeside and therefore it might be better eating in the hotel. As it turned out, we had all our meals in the hotel and whilst some of them weren’t to our liking, that was more of our preferences as opposed to the food. In fact we wouldn’t have a problem doing half board again as the food was very good. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. If you are looking for a hotel then this hotel will not disappoint you, it’s about 200 yards to the lake front with numerous bars and restaurants. We sat on the rooftop bar several times in the day and a couple of times in the evening watching the fabulous sunsets. Well done everyone at the hotel for making our holiday so enjoyable.

If you have never visited Garda before, this hotel will not disappoint you, about two hundred yards to the lake front with all the bars and restaurants, and of course the shops. The views from the skypool bar as the sun sets are amazing. Well done everyone at the hotel for making our holiday so enjoyable.
