Hotel that needs a little love.
We were disappointed with the cleaning done before our arrival. There were traces of toothpaste in the sink and a bad smell.

Well located but very dated without any entertainment…just a small swimming pool.. problem with parking… but Tossa del Mar top in terms of beauty and entertainment! If it’s possible (not sure) I will try another time to book more modern accommodation with parking…

Basic accommodation, nothing fancy but OK. Get a room overlooking the pool the town and the sea if you can. Owner/manager was very friendly. Be aware that though the town center and beach are not far away, the Villa Romana is on a hill with a steep climb up; keep that in mind if you're mobility challenged. We had a leased car and took advantage, exploring the area around Tossa. The drive along the cliffs to Sant Feliu is worth the time and there are plenty of interesting things to stop and see. We parked our car in Blanes and took the train into Barcelona a few times. It was one of my most memorable train journeys, travelling along the sea and stopping in the little towns along the way. Just beautiful. The train is the best way to go there, it doesn't take long and the train station in Barcelona is underground directly beneath the the city center. Climb up the stairs and you're in the Plaça de Catalunya. There are hop on - hop off tourist buses and they are a good way to see the sights. Don't miss the Sagrada Familia - book an admission ticket online to avoid the frequent line ups to get in. We also visited Montserrat, it's a bit of a drive and takes a full day to go there, have a good look around and drive back to Tossa - but well worth it. Overall we had a great time in this beautiful beach town and would travel there again.

Estuvimos bien porque fueron dos días, si hubiera sido una estància mas larga le faltaban detalles y mantenimientot en terraza y baño. La pica no se podía abrir tapon y las puertas les faltaba engrasar y pintura, igual que al mobiliario exterior y la cama, necesita adapt****

No recomiendo ir a todas aquellas personas con movilidad reducida ya que hay ascensor pero una vez llegas a recepción y hay escaleras incluso para acceder habitación sin avisar en ningún sitio.Aunque lo peor es la recepcionista que abandonó una hora su puesto de trabajo dejándome sin poder devolver la llave después de cobrarme un extra de 15euros de late checkout, una vergüenza. SUMADO A QUE MIENTEN POR TELÉFONO DICIENDO RECEPCIÓN ABIERTA Y SÓLO TE MANDAN HORARIOS REALES CUANDO YA RESERVASTE.Deja mucho que desear el trato,lástima sitio es precioso

La estancia pésima, el servicio peor aún, llegamos y no había nadie para atendernos, no nos cogían el teléfono, gracias que estaba el jefe de mantenimiento arreglando algo y nos pudo ayudar y nos dio habitación, lo gracioso esque dice recepción 24h. The only point + the location of the villa Points - very poor value for money, very far from the luxury stone and holiday apar**ent, very small for 4, tiny fridge, dilapidated bathroom, cleaning not done, swimming pool not maintained and dilapidated, very complicated to see impossible to park near the residence, or you have to pay the high price
