"The room was spacious, and the glass doors to the balcony could be completely slid open, offering a wide view. The room directly faced the sea and the swimming pool. The entire tourist route followed the coastline, with many small towns offering delicious and interesting food. It was a great place to explore, and close to the castle, although every tourist spot was very crowded."

"Aunt Tere at the front desk was so welcoming that I fell in love with Tossa at once. The sea view room with balcony is unbeatable, and looking out at the sea is refreshing. The indoor fragrance smells great too, but unfortunately I couldn't find the same one in the supermarket."

"A fascinating location in the Old Town of Tossa. Don't expect your taxi to get you right up to the front door! Our two rooms were spacious and clean and full of character. For a seven bedroom hotel the amenities were excellent with the pool and jacuzzi very well maintained within a very nice garden. Excellent breakfast. Could not sample dinner as we were there right at the start of the season and the restaurant did not open until June. Right from the start we were all made most welcome by Andrea Zoetmulder and her colleagues, one of whom was there at 5.45am on our last morning to help us to our taxi! Thank you, Andrea and Co."

"The breakfast was really good! There is a lot of variety, but there’s not “hot” foods such as scrambled eggs etc., but there was many types of bread, fruit, yoghurt etc.🥚🍑🍅🍉 We had a room without a balcony and it was totally okay! Not a necessity, cause we had a big window we could open if we wanted. 🪟 The bathroom is just like the pictures, for our room at least! There is also nice air conditioning where you could select exactly which temperature you want 🌡️ The room was really nice, and we had a mini fridge to store our own food. The cleaning staff provides 2 small water bottles EVERY day!💧 The pool is massive and really nice, and there is outside showers and lots of sunbeds on the grasspart. The bar is cheap compared to what it cost in the city.🍹 Like many others state, it has way more value than 1-star hotel. Sure, it’s a bit further away from the beach, but it’s really only a 15-minute walk and if you’re used to walking, it’s no big deal 🚶♂️"

"Stayed here as a family of 3, paid extra for a pool view and stayed half board. We arrived around 11am and had to wait til 1pm for the room which was no issue, when going into the room we noticed it was only set for 2 people, went to reception and they sent someone in to set up the child’s bed. The main bed was two singles pushed together we found these beds really hard, which resulted my partner staying in the child’s bed as it was softer all week. We stayed October half term so the outdoor pool was cold, but the small outdoor jacuzzi was okay to use, you had to book the indoor pool which we did but found they let to many in at a time which become overcrowded. There was a small out dated gym, but fine. The food was okay, breakfast was the same every morning, dinner seemed to be fish every night, and my 8yr old lived on plain pasta and chips not much for kids. It’s self serve so food was never hot. There is a microwave that you can use. Location is good, 10min walk to the beach and 10min walk to bus station. We did the land train which was around 6euro each, don’t really see much though. There’s a market on a Thursday just in the next few from the hotel, this was nice to walk around. There was no entertainment or kids club in the week we stayed they were dressing the hotel for Halloween for the day we left which looked fab. There’s a park in the next street. Overall it was a nice week and we would return."

All staff so friendly and can’t do enough for you.Pool bar has a new menu which is lovely- love the added plastic wine glasses👍🏻 Rooms are recently refurbished air con is great and the shower is fantastic. "Very nice hotel in terms of location. The hotel has changed management and some parts have been beautifully renovated. However, the hotel used to have a great offer for all age groups, but unfortunately no longer for Gen Z or millennials. The food is sometimes cold. The pool and the rooms with a sea view are unbeatable. Also the prices at the bar and restaurants changed a lot to be more expensive."

"This hotel is not up to 4 star standard. Restaurant is in basement with low ceilings all enclosed and no outlook Food is very basic on buffet repetitive and lukewarm. Entertainment was just a dj putting on Spanish dance music so loud it was unbearable . If you get room in their hotel opposite there's no reception and you have to cross road to get to it. Small pool area not suitable if busy in summer months not enough space for everyone. It's quite near beach."

"I can't recommend enough, Pablo is a wonderful host, and a great cook, join 'Family Dinner' to experience the local cuisine and meet other guests. Close to the town, beach and castle, it has been my favorite stay in Spain. The church bells next door were lovely too :)"

"From the moment we entered the hotel we felt at home. All the staff were friendly and interested about our stay ensuring that we enjoyed the resort and our stay. A great location. Our comfortable room offered plenty of room and a spacious terrace where we enjoyed the view and people watching. It was convenient for the beach, castle and shops so we could pop back and chill. Breakfast was excellent. There is a guest lounge. Highly recommended and we will be back as we enjoyed both the hotel and Tossa de Mar."
