I stayed here on the second day of a four-day weekend in July. I had read reviews about the building being old, the bathrooms and changing rooms being small, and you could hear everything from the rooms next door, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was so relaxing! First of all, the location is on the lake, and you can see Lake Towada from your room (though it's over the parking lot).The room was larger and more comfortable than I expected.You could take a walk along the quiet shore of Lake Towada without people around, and the bath was nice. Although it was old, there were no people around so I had it all to myself, and the food was really delicious! I was told that each and every item was made with great care by the head chef. Above all, I was soothed by the hospitality of the employees! Many of the employees here are elderly, and I could tell that they not only said it with their words, but they genuinely wanted us to have an enjoyable trip. I'm really glad I stayed here. I would definitely like to visit again.
