Towadakohan Sakura ★★★

📍 Towadakohanyasumiya-486 Okuse, Towada

"We stayed in the Japanese-style deluxe room, which was spacious enough for two adults and one child. Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi set, which wasn't suitable for children who can't eat raw food, so they only had unlimited rice with soup. If you want to use the family hot spring bath, it's recommended to book it at the same time as your room. We checked in at 3 PM that day, and unfortunately, the family hot spring baths were already fully booked."

Hotel Pony Onsen ★★

📍 Saihaba-167-1 Sanbongi, Towada

"The location is very inconvenient, basic after six o'clock back to the hotel has been very dark and dangerous, and before returning to the hotel must solve the dinner problem, stayed two nights lived on the 2nd floor without lift, have guests move themselves up the long stairs, and the room is small to scare"

📍 Towadakohanyasumiya-5-1 Okuse, Towada

"Although the location is a bit far from the fireworks festival, the proprietress was very enthusiastic about driving us there and back. The service was indeed very good. The meals are simple but thoughtful and delicious! In addition, the bathroom is built with a large bathtub, which is a bit crude. More attention should be paid to improving the safety in this aspect. Oirase Onsen Akari to Kaede Hotels in Towada

Oirase Onsen Akari to Kaede

"The location is excellent, right next to the JR bus stop, and the Towada bus stop is also at the same location, making transportation very convenient. It's about a kilometer walk to Oirase. The surrounding area is very quiet, the hotel's onsen (hot spring) is very comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast are plentiful, with the yakitori (grilled skewers) being particularly delicious. The service is very attentive. The room facilities are slightly lacking, but sufficient for a comfortable stay."

Super Hotel Towada ★★★
"It was a small town so that there were not many choices of restaurants at night. The free parking space was plenty and only three undercover. The free drink bar and coffee was good. The room size was a bit small."

"For a hotel at this price point, the check in process shouldn't be done by customers themselves. The process was also cumbersome. The bathroom was cramped and didn't feel luxurious"

"It was convenient that there were restaurants nearby. It was also close to the Nitobe Inazo Memorial Museum, so it was a great location. I'd like to stay here again."

Tsuta Onsen Ryokan ★★★
"I was so impressed with the service provided. I felt like I was staying at a 5-star hotel! Thanks so much for the arrangement. All staff members were so nice and helpful. Also, I enjoyed the meals and spa indeed! All of these contributed to my pleasant journey in the northeast of Japan. Though I have missed the autumn leaves season and the sunrise at the Tsuta Pond."

Oirase Mori no Hotel ★★★
"I had booked a room in the senior facilities. The bathroom was large with handrails, and the mirror could be rotated to make it easy for wheelchair users. The meal package (one night's stay plus two meals) was plentiful, and the service was first-class. The only drawback was the lack of Wi-Fi in the room."

"Although it's about a 10mins walk from the bus station, I'd totally recommend you to stay here. Breakfast and dinner are provided which tastes amazing, fish is really really fresh, coming from someone who doesn't enjoy eating fish. The rooms are on the 2nd floor, there are toilets on both the first and second level while the sole bathroom and onsen is shared on the first level. The shower closes at 9.30 pm (there's 2 shower heads, shared bathroom, though we showered 1 at a time, there's lockable doors). You'll have to lay your own beds, however, you can ask the owner to help you if you do not know how to, she is really friendly and kind. I had a great time staying here."
