B&B Hotel Treviso

The staff was lovely, the room was well furnished, and the placement of the lamps was super stylish. However, there was a dominating sour smell in the room and it did not leave even after opening the window for hours. Maybe it is the smell of a cleaning product, not sure, but it was very potent and bad when I entered the room. Also the shower head is way too big for the wall-mounted holder and the showerhead falls out from it. You can not stand under the shower but have to hold it all the time. Otherwise everything was great. I appreciated the blackour curtains and the nice breakfast options.

Having stayed at this hotel now I am really surprised the reviews are so mixed. It was far better than we hoped for and we had a lovely comfortable evening there. We were on a train holiday so it was important to be near the station. This hotel is about five minutes and an easy walk away. We were welcomed warmly at reception and unusually our hotel had listened to our room requests. Unfortunately, no balcony rooms were available but the hotel has a wonderful large and comfortable terrace that provides an excellent relaxing area. The room was basic but extremely comfortable. Good beds and pillows and excellent air-conditioning. There is a basic mini bar which is chargeable and an added luxury was that it had a bath! We were room only so we can’t comment on the food but the Wi-Fi was free for unlimited devices and very high quality. All in all, this hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we would go there again without hesitation. A special mention to the Reception staff who are outstanding.

Dafne B&B

Tip on reaching the B&B: Don't exit the train station but take the tunnel (yes the same platform type of tunnel) to reach the B&B. Lovely house close to the train station. A bit tight room for 3 people with private bathroom but a very inviting, big & shared 2nd floor dining room where daily breakfast was served. Breakfast consisted of a wonderful spread of cornetto, salume, cheese, yogurt, fruits, milk, cappucino, etc. You can also use it for your DIY meals (lunch and dinner). It's equipped with a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, etc. If the weather is nice you can even go out onto the large balcony (it was windy & rainy during our stay). There are also 2 small couches in that room as well. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds made, and new towels supplied. There's a refillable bottle of water inside the room with drinking glasses. I have nothing but positive experience thanks to Ivano (& Barbara & her dog), the lovely hosts who made us feel like we were right at home during our stay. I recommend 100%!!!

We were travelling around Italy and chose Treviso to meet up with friends. Having just left a beautiful hotel in Verona and this hotel was rated higher than our last location, we were looking forward to the next stage of our trip. Great location and close to the station, but then we entered. The reception area wasn’t tired, it was exhausted. Leather furniture was split and peeling. Material furniture was sagging and uncomfortable, but the worst was yet to come - we were given the keys to our room. Opening the door, smell of alcohol immediately hit you and turning on the light turned to shock. The room hadn’t been decorated since the 1980s. Linens threadbare, tears in the headboard and awful mould. We immediately went back to reception. Then given keys to a room on the first floor and whilst the headboard was intact, I didn’t see mould, it was still simply awful. I’ve seen better ramshackle B&Bs in the UK!! The corridor to the room was being replastered - but the entire hotel needed more - much more!! We immediately cancelled our booking and chose a hotel further out of the town centre. This is not for the faint-hearted!
