This hotel is closed subject to renovation works. We were transferred to another hotel next doors belonging to the same owner, Modernista. That was a nice well kept hotel. Still we find it surprising that we were not informed until the day before although the original hotel had been closed for months.
Modernista was a good hotel. Small safety boxes though, not much space.

In the reservation it was not clear that the Hotel Continentale was closed for works and that in any case I would have been able to benefit from the same conditions booked for the Continentale in another hotel (The Modernist) very close by. With a phone call I was able to clarify the matter.
I felt very comfortable in this hotel, the furnishings are modern but very comfortable; in the room there is also the possibility of making tea or coffee, very welcome.
The room was very quiet (windows soundproofed very effectively) and well furnished; the modern and functional bathroom. All very clean.
The staff was very courteous.
