Residence le Terrazze ★★★
"It's very close to the beach, within walking distance. The hotel has almost no toiletries, but thankfully there are many supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient. The soundproofing is definitely not great, but it's a good choice for short trips."
Doubletree by Hilton Trieste ★★★★
"Extremely expensive room, small bed, filthy walls, no hooks to hang bathrobes, leaky shower, and getting it to stop was a struggle. Breakfast was €22 per person, plus the very high cost of the room (€291 per night). The check-in girl was rude, but luckily the rest of the staff was kind. The only positive note: very close to the station and the center."
Hotello ★★
"Excellent service, comfortable beds and love the addition of the curtain"
Residence Theresia- Tailor Made Stay ★★★
"The apartment is in a beautiful old building, in an excellent location, just a few minutes from the Canale Grande/Vecchio. Very clean and tidy. Clean textiles. Spacious. Once a week, a thorough cleaning and replacement of bed linen and towels is carried out. The bathroom is beautiful and well equipped. However, only the bare essentials and basics are available. You have to ask for standard items such as tea towels or pot holders. In addition, the noises from the kitchen are unfortunately very loud and disturb sleeping considerably (heating system and extremely loud refrigerator). Nothing happened when I asked to turn the heating system off at night. The air conditioning works, but is extremely loud when in use. The refrigerator was incorrectly set and is poorly designed. The condensation runs under the vegetable compartment and, by raising it, makes it almost impossible to close the door, which is then blocked. Problems such as the incorrect setting of the refrigerator or the broken toilet cistern were quickly resolved by the staff. Some of the walls could be painted and some items could be replaced (e.g. broom in the bathroom). The staff are attentive, but you don't feel particularly welcome as a guest. A service is provided for the guest with the necessary courtesy. Anything beyond that is not considered necessary. Conclusion: good accommodation in a top location, ideal for undemanding and short stays. Too expensive for me with these shortcomings. With a little effort, the guests' stay could be improved and made more pleasant. It's a shame that there is so little customer loyalty."
Urbanauts Studios Minelli ★★★
"Great location and very clean apartment"
Forvm Boutique Hotel ★★★
"As I arrived early in the morning, I went to the counter to leave my luggage first, and they served me a complimentary plate of coffee and croissants. It was wonderful hospitality. However, although the booking page on Trip.com said "1 queen bed", the actual room had "1 single bed" (I'm not sure if this is Trip.com's fault or the hotel's)."
NH Trieste ★★★★
"Great location, very close to train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Walkable to many touristy spots. Receptionists were very helpful, they also provide luggage storage. The only major downside is no aircon, and the room was much hotter than outside. We tried opening the windows on the first night and got bitten by mosquitoes, which was worse than being hot. The next day we got a fan, but still a bit too hot to sleep. Apart from that, overall it was a good spot"
Albergo Alla Posta ★★★
"Nice old hotel in a great location near the center of Trieste. Beautiful lobby and foyer/lounge. A fine breakfast is served there in the morning, certainly by Italian standards. The air conditioning and key card system work perfectly. The front desk is staffed live 24/7. The room is basic and bare. However, it features beautiful Artemide Tolomeo design classics for the lighting. The bathroom is old and could use an update. A 70x70 cm shower cabin is only comfortable for very small people. The water, by the way, is fine in terms of temperature and pressure. This hotel is highly recommended for a city trip!"
Affittacamere Berzi ★★
"The room and bed were spacious, and the room was clean. The sheets were crisp, so I think they were properly laundered by a professional service. The instructions were a bit confusing, but the location was good, and I would like to use this option again in a small town."

Residence Victoria
Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta
"We enjoyed a three night visit to the Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta, an elegant boutique property with an unbeatable location on Trieste's historic main square. The location has had an hotel since the 14c and the present structure dates from the 1870s. The guest list is impressive! Our (single) room and its shower-only bathroom were 'compact' - and about the smallest in the hotel - but they were well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything worked. Breakfast was an adequate if unexciting buffet. All the staff we met were friendly and professional. The hotel has a famed two rosette Michelin restaurant but the alternative is uninteresting (and the wine is very expensive by local standards) - the best local option for ordinary meals is the Caffè degli Specchi across the square. The Duchi d'Aosta is not the 5 star 'grand hotel' its name suggests but it's a very pleasant 4 + star option and good value by international standards. Recommended. Tip – the small group guided tour offered by the nearby tourist office is an excellent introduction to Trieste. "
Victoria Hotel Letterario
"Beautiful hotel in a convenient location near transportation and wonderful bars zany restaurants. Great staff, easy check in and wonderful room ."

Savoia Excelsior Palace Trieste - Starhotels Collezione
"Amazing view in the balcony room!"
Hotel Milano
"Nothing to report"
CX Trieste Giulia
"Clean and new place, Hotel at ninth floor with view on the sea and Trieste itself. Surrounding Area up on the hill has free parking although you'll need to wander around a bit to find a place. Alternatively 14€ / day parking pretty close to the entrance. Breakfast pretty standard and uninspiring but still more than acceptable. Shared staff for desk and breakfast service rather unakward."
Residenza le 6 A
"The Ordinary Punter really liked this place - book it direct with the owner, not via a booking website, It's not a hotel, not a b&b, but your residence in Trieste city centre. The name of "Le 6 A" residence is a tribute to Italo Svevo and to the women from Trieste, who are traditionally held as beautiful, free-minded, caring and strong-willed, just like the women characters in Svevo's novels. Each room is dedicated to one of them. It's really good - large rooms, en-suite bathroom, wooden floor, kitchenette, tv-set and wi-fi. Go for it!"
Hotel Miramare - Adults Only
"Panoramic, you can see the whole coast, fantastic."
Piazza Venezia le Camere
"Although we had booked and paid for several nights in advance, we left after 1 night. Our booking process had not made us aware the B&B was three floors up with no elevator. We also did not have advance information that the doors were locked after 7:00 pm. After contacting the owner we were told she had tried to text and call us. But as foreign tourists we were not using the cell number she had for the booking. Nothing but a scolding from her. I wish others a better experience - perhaps young people with light luggage and an early planned arrival."
Hotel Riviera & Maximilian's
"Great hotel and wonderful breakfast served by Tommy, who is so very friendly and efficient. Tommy makes the best coffee and makes everyone feel special What a beautiful view and such a wonderful selection at breakfast.the hotel is fantastic and all the staff are amazing.we would recommend you stay here if you are visiting Trieste .the lift down to the sunbathing area is so unique"
Maximilian Suites
Palace Suite
"Very good accommodation experience"
Hotel Vis à Vis
"Excellent Hotel, excellent room, breakfast, everything 👍🏻"
Hotel Continentale
"Good size room with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was also a good size with a spacious shower (great water pressure too!). Breakfast was ordinary - it is al a carte, with the hotel’s intention being to reduce food waste, but this seemed far more wasteful to me."
Seven Historical Suites
"The room is very clean, but the smell inside the building is not very good. How can I say it smells old... The room is on the third floor. The elevator is very small. The location is also good. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach and there is no service. , I saw the boss alone from beginning to end. After checking in, I had to carry my luggage on the first floor, which was not convenient. The experience was average and the price was not cheap."
