Great location (though I regretted not booking the Hilton doubletree around the corner). Feels more like an Airbnb serviced by a hotel. Checkin process was confusing (had to go to a different hotel - hotel said we got instructions but we checked and had nothing from them). We got great restaurant recommendations from the front desk attendant. The coffee in the room is not free - they charge a euro for each capsule. Who does that these days? We paid for breakfast as part of our stay. Breakfast was ok but very weak compared to most places at this price we have stayed at. The coffee (as per of breakfast) was wonderful. Parking was cumbersome - we had to park in a nearby garage which was a good 10 minute walk away. Overall a solid experience but we expected more given price and alternatives in Trieste. Trieste itself was marvelous especially miramare castle

Pleasant stay in this hotel/apar**ent. Very beautiful exterior while the inside needs some "rejuvenation" especially in the bathrooms. The garage service is excellent given the central location of the hotel. For the rest, excellent courtesy and helpfulness.

I knew the hotel from having been there a few times and I was curious to stay at the Palace Suite. Very beautiful building, located in the center of Trieste; well structured and organized apar**ent. Impeccable cleanliness. Very pleasant modern furniture. The only flaw is the lights are too dim especially in the bathroom (mirror). However, very positive experience. All the staff as always very friendly.

Gorgeous apar**ent, clean and located in a central area. Friendly staff, we took advantage of the breakfast which takes place in the hotel next door, also the rich and perfect breakfast, attentive and friendly staff. I highly recommend.

Large suite but, at least the one I stayed in, with poorly organized space: bedroom and living room in the same room, separate kitchen... exceptional bathroom with two windows. A little too dark despite the fourth floor and the many windows

Excellent location to get to know Trieste, the suite has all the services and is very clean. It does not have a reception, you have to go to a hotel around the corner.
The breakfast is highly recommended and the coffee is exquisite.

The location is absolutely fantastic in a historic renovated property. The renovation was of high quality throughout and the executive suite was absolutely stunning. The problem was that the water tank of the toilet seat only filled up from time to time. I pointed it out to the reception three times, but in the end it was not fixed. Every time the receptionist did take care of the problem and at least twice the repairman visited the place without fixing the problem. The repair would probably require a professional and spare parts to get it right. It can't be that things are not in order in a hotel of that price.
Another thing. Breakfast was, like the reception, at the adjacent Hotel Continental. Breakfast was made to order, but it wasn't worth the price. Also, the service was slow. It seemed that one male employee was trying to instruct the others, but in my opinion to no avail. Overall, the accommodation was not worth the price.
