A great place for a stay in Trieste. Good communication with the owner and arrival and checkout was very pleasant. Nice breakfast bar next door. Just a short walk to all of the sites. Parking at Molo 4, 10 mins walk, 17 EU overnight. The apartment has everything you need including free coffee and water. Good value for money.

This is a large apartment in an old building that is broken into 3 or 4 separate rooms. These rooms are not properly divided with a real wall, they are closed off with interior doors. So you can hear your neighbors, not to mention these doors are old and the keys are old, so you can gather that it's not the safest set up. Some rooms have ensuite bathrooms and some do not, but the property owners do not disclose that in advance, so it's your luck what you get. The kitchenette is only a microwave and small refrigerator, no sink - so you have to wash your plates in the bathroom. You get 1 coffee capsule per day, and 1 small bottle of water per day. Nothing else. This is the cheapest and funniest thing I've ever encountered. I don't know other hosts this stingy. My Rome host literally filled the refrigerator with bottle water and didn't count coffees. There is no permanent staff (at least what I saw), even if you confirm your arrival time - nobody is there to greet you and let you in. You have to call them upon arrival. It's obnoxious when it's the middle of the day and nobody will let you in even if you tell them your time and flight #. Honestly, beware of this host. If you post a negative review even thought it's 100% true, he will accuse you of lying. Read all the reviews - especially the negative ones first before booking. I wish I did. I've stayed in these non traditional hotels before, and I have never had an issue. Most hosts are professional, they run it like a business. Someone is there - especially during the middle of the day to let you in. I regret staying here! Plenty of better places in Trieste and not being treated so poorly.

In my case the washroom is on the hallway, need to cross the corridor to get to it. Hotels. com says Private bath. Yes it is, it's all mine I am here now, but not in the room. It is a clean full bathroom including a bidet but sticks, sewer gas, so typical for Europe and the plumbing ands traps used. It's disgusting. Room is large, kings size room ands bed, nothing wrong there. It has a kitchenette as advertised, but, seriously, what kitchenette is that without water? And only a microwave. Don't expect to find any cooking facilities in here as thought when you read "kitchenette". It's far from it. Pictures attached. The place is alright but the turn-off is the bathroom, in my case therefore only a 3-star review. Also, forgot to mention, there is no reception don't be late coming in or you will have to call somebody to come check you in. The fellow that did for me was Luca, nice guy but he can't change the bathroom issue. Parking is a luck issue, on street, I got lucky, found a spot right in front. Good luck!

Private bathroom is indicated, but it is not mentioned that it is located outside the room, in the corridor. The parquet creaks loudly and the air conditioner is actually a very noisy portable appliance. Bathroom with window, but without handle so air circulation is not possible. The only positive note is the excellent location.

Everything was more than perfect. It's a wonderful place to stay. Our apartment was so beautiful, confortable, and clean. Location is super convenient. We have arrived early before the check in time and they held our baggage at their restaurant nearby. I would totally recommend it and of course would stay there again. The hosts are the best!!!

The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, very well located, close to the main tourist attractions, on a quiet street. I highly recommend it. As it is not a hotel, there is no reception and it is necessary to arrange a check-in time with the owner.
