Nice quiet and clean room right next to the Cruise port. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A great option in an excellent location. I was a little worried when we first entered the lobby area because it looked old and dark. But it is just and older building that could benefit from a lighting upgrade in the entryway. Our room was on the top floor in the rear building (there is a front and back building). We had a view of the hills. Room was very spacious with a kitchen and eating area. The elevator is very small (two people and luggage max). We took it up and used the stairs for down to avoid the wait. Room was comfortable, clean, bright and quiet. Excellent location just a block from the pedestrian shopping areas. Many grocery stores nearby. An easy walk from the train station although don’t use Google’s recommended rout along the waterfront. Same yourself the hassle and use the pedestrian streets instead. Much faster and more pleasant.

Really enjoyed our stay at Residence Liberty. It was about a 15-minute walk from the train station to the hotel. When we first arrived at the hotel I was a little concerned about our choice as the entryway and lobby were very dark. However, we did not need to be alarmed as the rest of the building and our room were clean and bright. The hotel should invest in better and more inviting lighting for the entryway area. The hotel is well situated being a block from the main pedestrian shopping streets, a block from the harbor, and close to many grocery stores. Our room was very spacious with a separate kitchen and large bathroom. Although the pictures make the rooms look outdated they are actually really comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a small table for dining. We were on the top floor at the back of the building so had a nice view of the hills and rooftops. Hot water was consistent and water pressure was good. This hotel is not a good choice for persons with mobility issues. You must climb several steps to reach the lobby area. Also, the elevator is small so large luggage may require a few trips up to your room. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.
