Central, welcoming structure, courteous staff attentive to every need. Luxurious rooms, very comfortable bed and dream bathtub. Absolute and impeccable cleanliness. Highly recommended

This hotel was perfect in every way. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and centrally located. Saverio was very helpful with everything: his recommendations for excursions and restaurants were excellent. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. I hope to be back!

WOW. What an amazing place. We loved the traditional stone architecture and spacious room. The location is central and 100m from the main piazza with great places to eat, drink and watch live music.
Salverio is such a gracious and helpful host, he helped us book trips, taxis and even posted our post cards for us!
Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a real highlight. Stunning views across the ocean. The staff also accommodated my vegan friend by making her soy cappuccinos.

Grazie Saverio, tutto era perfetto! The room was very spacious and always nice and cool due to the modern air conditioning. The breakfast really was extraordinary, we were served basically everything we wanted (eggs, coffee, croissants, bacon, ham, cereal) made to order. We ate on a beautiful terrace with ocean view. The hotel is in the middle of the old Town of Tropea. Una vacanza bellissima!

I stayed at the Il Barone residence in August, a beautiful structure in central Tropea. The room was very spacious and furnished with attention to every detail, not to mention the very thorough cleaning. Saverio the owner is super helpful and infinitely kind, he gave us all the tips and advice to make the holiday wonderful. Finally, what can we say about the breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the sea…. leaves you breathless. I can't wait to return to the Barone residence. Alexandra

Watch out for the 3 hour break from 1pm to 4pm where it is not possible to check in and this is not the best if you are arriving from far away in high temperatures. Super large room, comfortable bed. Kind Saverio who (without elevator) insists and brings your suitcases. Hot tub in the room. The lady who manages breakfast on the terrace is very kind. Breakfast good but with little choice and "a la carte". Free parking far away but preferable to guarded parking with exorbitant prices

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Tropea, you can stop searching because Residenza Il Barone is incredible. From the moment we arrived, Saverio was full of energy, smiling , and greeted us like we were family. He goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, you’re having fun, and enjoying everything that Tropea has to offer. I don’t speak Italian very well, and Saverio was still able to fully communicate with us and provided amazing recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and the rooftop terrace is breathtaking. The prices are very reasonable and the residence is in the perfect location, right in the heart of the piazza in a historical building. Saverio organized transfer to and from the airport for us, arranged a boat tour to Capo Vaticano, and also reserved chairs for us down by the beach. He is truly professional, friendly, passionate, and very knowledgeable of the area. The residence is the best place I’ve stayed in Tropea and I cannot wait to go back next summer. Grazie mille, Saverio Forza Residenza Il Barone and Forza Calabria sempre!
