Excellent accueil, endroit magnifique ! Soirée étape très agréable , petit déjeuner très copieux et très varié avec des produits maison et/ou local. Très calme à l’écart de la ville. Nous étions 3 et avons donc bénéficié du petit gîte indépendant très bien agencé.

This is a lovely place to stay! Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms; clean and well appointed bathrooms; excellent breakfast and wonderful service. Dinner was also great! The hosts provided excellent tips on sightseeing and welcomed us throughout our stay

Très bonne expérience. Accueil chaleureux, dîner parfait arrosé de vins de la région, quant au petit déjeuner, la perfection, il ne manquait rien. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le couchage parfait. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison d'hôtes, située dans un cadre idyllique. Merci aux propriétaires qui fournissent un travail énorme.

Our hosts were just wonderful, preparing a great breakfast each morning and also making some dinner reservations for us. And do not pass up having dinner that they prepare, especially the first night when you do not want to go out. It was excellent, with some great wines and the best cheese course of our trip. But this 300 year old farm manor house is a joy to stay in and has a timeless beauty. Central to the chateaus and to a day trip into Tours, which we recommend. Just a beautiful countryside setting. We stayed a week.

We had an excellent time at the Manoir de Chaix. The room, amenities, food and service were all first rate and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. The optional €30 dinner was perfect in quality and portion size, the bed was first rate, and a very good nights sleep was had. For me the highlight was their aperos, which introduced us to the Montlouis wines which was the best white I have ever tasted, so much so that we sought out the Cave the bottle came from the next day, and bought a supply for return to the UK. All in all a great time was had, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
