２ minutes walk from Tsuruoka Station. There is an artificial hot spring bath, breakfast is at least delicious, and dotol coffee service can be taken to the room. Yonezawa beef and cherry blossoms can't be served at the breakfast of Vijiho. However, the number of items was large and the taste was not bad.

The appearance is very impressive. According to the station's proximity, the biggest advantage is to take the airport bus and turn around. Next to the local shopping mall, the hotel has a door leading directly to the shopping mall. The largest room in the annex building, the space is okay, but the facilities are a bit old. The rice is delicious. Yamagata is an agricultural county! The service is of course good, some front desks do not understand English, and communication is strenuous. There is also a key to leave at the front desk, which is very interesting.

温かいおもてなし、行き届いた清掃で清潔。ベビー連れにも優しい配慮。足元もフラットです。 検温、アルコール消毒も声がけされて、安心感があります。 お食事には地場野菜の説明もあり、旬の物を美味しくいただくことができます。 好きな浴衣と帯を選び、湯の町をお散歩してみました。 まず、観光案内所でお話を伺いました。これが良かった！計画が具体的にイメージできて、パンフレットももらい、まち歩きのイベント情報も得て、2泊3日が大変充実したものになりました。 伝統織物の「しな織」の置いてある柴田屋さんには毎日通い、しな織の奥深さ、希少さに心打たれました。素敵なブローチと山葡萄原液の塩、でんでん太鼓を買いました。パン工房ヴァンベールで美味しいパンを買い、大和屋菓子舗では元禄餅ではなく、ケーキを買い、温海川をそぞろ歩き。 途中、飲湯所があるので飲みました。(コロナ禍なのでコップはありません。宿から紙コップを持参) 朝市も温泉神社の参道にあります。毎日５時30分から８時30分までやっています。地元の野菜やお酒など買うことができます。もう少し寒くなると赤かぶ漬けも出てくるそうです。 ローズガーデンとかもあるとか、小さな温泉町ですが、なかなか楽しめます。

A small inn with delicious cuisine and a free-flowing hot spring that keep repeat guests coming back

出羽三山巡りにあたって利用させて頂きました。当方ノープランの急な旅だった為、予約無しで伺いましたが、ご主人が快く受け入れて下さりました（宿坊では予約が無いと厳しいと断られました）。下調べが浅かったため、今回は羽黒山のみの参拝となりましたが、三山を巡ったような体験が出来る博物館を紹介してくださったり、次回の旅の参考になる情報を教えてもらいました。建物についてですが、昔ながらの旅館といった感じでとても味があって◎です。はじめて来たはずの所なのに、こんなに「居心地が良いな」と感じた事を不思議に思います。また、他の方も書かれていますが、広い旅館にも関わらず隅々まで清掃が行き届いており、「清潔感」がありました。キレイな喫煙ルームもあるので喫煙者も安心です。お料理についてですが、「すべてにおいて平均点を上回ってくる」洗練された味がしました。旅館の料理といえば大抵１つ２つはクセのあるお品が出されるイメージがありますが、ここは日本人なら誰が食べても「美味しい」と感じると思います。特に茄子の天ぷらは絶品でした（衣はサクサクっとした仕上がりで、中身は口の中で「ジュワァ～」ととろけます）。全体として、ご主人や女将さんの優しさを感じられるとても良い旅館です。こういう旅館はいつまでも日本にあり続けてほしいなと思いました（文句なしの星５です！）。
