My room was amazing, spacious and luxurious, I enjoyed breakfasts in front of the sea with the best view, they have a varied and high quality menu, my favorite restaurant was Ocumare is really amazing experience and attention from the staff.

We stayed at Be Tulum for the third time. The design, service and food is amazing and we couldn’t recommend staying here more highly. The entire resort is a designers paradise with so many touches and thoughtful rustic features throughout. We stayed in an Agua (water) suite which was beachfront (room 102) and it was peaceful sleeping at night with just the fly screens open listening to the sound of the ocean…. We sleep without air-conditioning and using the ceiling fan so we can enjoy the water sounds. The included breakfast at Mariesas is plentiful and filling with fruit, bread, coffee, juice and your choice of a main. The Bircher muesli was our fave. Service on the beach was amazing and hats off to the entire staff. Entertainment at night was varied from DJs to flamenco dancers and you can also do all of the health and wellness classes at Nomade and the yaan spa. Our concierge Sam was amazing and took are of us via WhatsApp and personal visits - thank you Sam!! We ate at Macondo, KUU, Zebra, Arca, Hartwood and ILIOS. And rented a car also. The new airport in Tulum is a game changer which we look forward to using in future, which will remove the 2 hour drive from Cancun. Book Be Tulum and treat your loved one to a special event. You will be pleased you did.

My bf and I just visited Be Tulum for 5 days in late March into early April to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving, we were offered a welcome drink and shortly taken to our room thereafter which is better described as a beautiful private villa, with amazing privacy surrounded by the foliage of the jungle. The room had a tall palapa roof which was one of our favourite features, along with a giant soaker tub. By far the most enjoyed aspect of our room was the private outdoor shower which we used liberally during our stay. Housekeeping was generally good except for one day they forgot to clean our room daytime but did promptly attend when we called it to their attention at the end of the day. We also loved the incense in the room - it was a very nice touch. We had breakfast at the beach restaurant a couple mornings and it was nice but we really enjoyed Ocumare for dinner one evening. My only complaint was one day we tried to join the temazcal ceremony at Nomade next door and even called the front desk in advance to confirm but when we showed up were told we needed to make an advance reservation and that they were full. Minor detail in an otherwise really enjoyable stay!

DO NOT GO HERE! FRAUDULENT CHARGES! BeTulum charged us over $700 of items we did not order or even receive. The management team - GUILMERMO GUERRO has been non-responsive about this matter and now I am having to take legal action. We were a group of 4 girls and were charged for over $1400 for a few apps and a few cocktails. As you can imagine, we were very alarmed to see the charge on my credit card (they charged me without even showing me the bill). After we asked for the itemized receipt, we noticed charges of items we did order or even receive. We were also charged for “off menu items” that were over $200. When we asked what this was they said it was the prawns (which were two small prawns per order). If we knew prawns were going to be $100 each, we would have not ordered them. There were other unexplained charges on the bill that ended up bring around $700 extra of items we did NOT order nor receive. After the trip, I reached out to management and was given GUILMERMO GUERRO’s number. He said he would look into it but we have not heard back from him since. This trip was in February and it is now April. I am still in a dispute with them and working on getting legal action. On top of all of this, the food and service were horrific. The entire experience was upsetting and I hope no one has to deal with this because it’s been a nightmare. There are many amazing beach clubs in Tulum with great service and wonderful food. BeTulum is a scam, so please beware!

Birthday celebration and it was one of the best birthday ever. It was relaxing, food excellent, night life excellent and we loved it! Love that there are no televisions!!!!! Very intimate and beautiful scenery!

The atmosphere is set to take you back to self nature by eating fresh foods, relaxing, meditation and yoga classes. Situated by the most beautiful beach I have seen. Amazing service by Sam, concierge, Ivan at the restaurant, and many others. Our room was wonderful, large, and set as a place for relaxing with private pool and hammock. The food quality, freshness, and flavor - delicious! Will come back!

Recently returned from a 4 day stay at Be Tulum and overall it was a great experience. The area of the hotel is located near some decent food spots and others within walking distance. The quality of the service from the staff was top notch, ranging from the individuals at the beach, to workers walking by, and the front desk staff. The beach and the amenities offered there were also exceptionally good, with highly attentive workers. Things to note: - This is a boutique hotel so the room layouts can be different. I raised this concern after discovering the room we ended up in was much smaller than the one we booked online. We were accommodated with a room switch to the larger room we thought we booked, but would have preferred this didn’t happen in the first place. Might I recommend a breakout of the layouts of rooms (Room w day bed vs room w/o) on the booking website to minimize confusion. - They’re building a new hotel next door to the property so you will hear construction noises, but I wouldn’t say it was insanely loud, just something to be aware of. - Minimal outlets in the rooms and no mini fridge. Maybe I should make it standard practice to walk with an extension cord but our first room had probably max 2 outlets you could use to charge stuff. - Everything is more expensive towards this end of the beach. I knew what I was getting into due to the price point of the hotel although while priced higher may need to initiate downward adjustments to align with what they offer as standard. With all this said I would definitely revisit this property as it provided the relaxing Tulum experience I was seeking.
