The best jungle hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. Free bicycles, kayaks, and cave exploration activities. But there is only one restaurant nearby and it's a bit expensive.

We were really excited for our stay at Wakax but little did we know the full scope of how incredible this peace of paradise really is. We stepped into another world. It’s like nothing we ever experienced before.. the peace and tranquility, the wild and magical nature and wildlife, the adventures, the people and top of the line service..
It was so nice to have some alone time away from the crowds here and just enjoy nature.
We got the best service from Armando and Luis in the restaurant. We had the most epic adventures with Gonzo in the underground river and Mayan Village. Gonzo is easily one of the coolest people- super knowledgeable of the land, animals and people… power up! 🤘
Our room was super comfortable and nothing beats the pure bliss of floating in the lagoon in the evening watching the bats above you and seeing the stars shine so bright. 💓
We really can’t wait to come back, we would totally get married here too! Haha

Recharge your batteries. Absolutely perfect balance of calm quiet and activity. This space has breathtaking natural environment. Gives you space to breathe and relax, but also give opportunities to relax and engage your mind in natural activities Absolutely beautiful

This was a really nice tranquil part of our time in Mexico.
We found no need to leave Hacienda Wakax for the four days we were there.
The activities and dining was all we wanted.
In particular the hours spent in and around the Cenotes was great.
Totally recommend this resort.
