Alaya Tulum

Alaya was breathtaking. We came for our 10 year anniversary and stayed in the ocean front room on the second floor! It was STUNNING! The breeze feels amazing every morning and evening. The beach is beautiful. The service is incredible. every staff member is so accommodating as well! Gabby is so nice and gave us the best service! The front staff is so helpful and booked us any trips, taxi or events we wanted to do for the day! Renting the bikes was so fun! Must do! I highly recommend this place to come stay for a relaxing trip!

Alaya is a beautiful beachfront hotel. I stayed in an oceanview room and had the best time and experience specially morning time with a coffee in your door watching sunset. Yummy foood and drinks at the beach, great service and magic activities

Great experience overall!! Would stay here again. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to everything which helped since we had a toddler :) We also rented a car from the airport so that helped with transportation. They have free parking for guests.

The staff at ALAYA, particularly Stefam took excellent care of me starting with a warm greeting, welcome drink and white glove treatment throughout my stay. I came for a short wellness retreat and got more than what I anticipated. I’d definitely come back and thanks so much Stefam for taking such great care!

Alaya was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I were there for 6 days and the entire time we felt more relaxed than we’ve ever felt. The room was beautiful, the view was breathtaking, but the best part was how hospitable the staff was. Everyone was so attentive. Santos served us while we relaxed by the beach, at one point it seemed as if he knew what I needed before I even asked. Ismael was also constantly meeting our needs, we came back late one night after a full day of excursions and by the time we put our things away things away, Ismael had a bucket of ice and our bottles of water waiting for us on our porch. Gaby brought us fresh coffee every morning and anytime I wanted a little extra coffee she brought it to us gladly. Leticia cleaned our room every day and freshen up our sheets during the evening hours also. Anything we needed we always received with a smile, we never had to ask for anything more than once. By the time we left Alaya, the staff knew our names and we knew there’s, we shared stories and I grew super fond of all of them. I would go back to Alaya, no questions asked! It was so serene, such a beautifully intimate place. My husband and I connected so deeply sitting on that porch drinking our coffee while listening to the sounds of the ocean. One of my favorite things was the buckets of water, they changed daily, to rinse your feet from the sand, as the hotel is literally on the sand. I truly have no complains. The bucket had flowers in the water. All in all I highly recommend this amazing hotel!

A very sweet spot in Tulum beach. No loud music and easy going vibe. Excellent service and good food. Santos and Henri were fantastic servers who went above and beyond. The minimum consumption is low compared to many other places on Tulum beach. Parking included. We will definitely be back!

Alaya Tulum is a hidden gem. The area is just beyond the “scene” to allow quiet and peace but close enough to walk or bike as you please. We stayed in the Casa which we would highly recommend if you are able. The home is well appointed and quite beautiful. The master suite has an amazing view of the ocean. The Casa’s private deck area and pool on the beach was sublime. Our family enjoyed these spaces daily, served there and on the beach by Santos and Henry. Get to know them, they are excellent and they attended to our family’s every need with a smile. They are a small part of the hotel’s wonderful staff that made our stay exceptional. We experienced some really nice touches including welcome champagne and fruit. We enjoyed the option of daily yoga, morning delivered coffee/tea/juice and delicious menu. Remembering the sound of the waves makes me smile now and we will return

Outstanding service by Santos and everyone at Alaya hotel, from the moment we've checked in we felt looked after and the service has been great, delicious food delivered to sun beds and refreshing margaritas shaken by attentive bar staff, would highly recommend and would definitely go back again! This is a first class boutique resort. I came with my husband in late May for some much needed relaxation. All the staff is very kind and this is the place to go if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Santos was the best! He is so kind and generous and makes sure we are always well taken care of with a smile on his face. We have absolutely loved our experience with Alaya. It’s the most intimate paradise.
