Sueños Tulum

Beautiful hotel, stunning beach front views, amazing staff, great location, very friendly people, breakfast was delicious & a very good size. Jungle style hotel was stunning. We had a great view from our room, catches a sunrise every morning. Had breakfast on the beach. Pure paradise.

We had an amazing stay in Suenos for 4 nights for a short family getaway. We love the variety of morning breakfast and the private beachfront. Our 2.5 daughter enjoyed playing in the white sand. The staff were all helpful, friendly and supportive.. We highly recommend them. 👌

We discovered Suenos Tulum 9 years ago after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. We just returned from our third stay after an 8 year gap from our last visit. The area of Tulum has grown & changed a lot in 8 years; not necessarily all for the better however Suenos has remained mostly the same, with any changes made have been for added comfort of their visitors. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Jorge, Elizabeth & Giovanna, with hugs & welcomed as Suenos family even after being away for so many years. Sueños Tulum is a beautiful, serene oasis to just relax & forget about the stresses of your everyday life. The owners have put their heart & soul into every detail of Suenos, which includes Mayan inspired artwork & architecture of the buildings. There are 5 main guest buildings with each one having a different theme/interior color, each room faces the ocean, We love the Luna suite with the calming blue walls & a surprise hummingbird on the ceiling. The rooms have air-conditioning but we chose to sleep with door open & listen to the ocean & enjoyed the breeze that blew in. They also have 24/7 electricity & high speed internet if you need it. The food from the restaurant is top notch, fresh & delicious!! Breakfast is included with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, basket of a variety of bread, jam & peanut butter, fresh squeezed juice & each day is a different style of egg. If you have a special request chef Jose Luis is happy to accommodate you. Our servers Artsenio & Ivan were the absolute BEST!! They were so fun, warm & friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a modern, glossy, beach club experience then this is not going to be your place but if you want quiet, a place to relax, calm your soul, do some yoga, relax by a fire in the evening, then you'll love it here; we sure do & hope we can make it back again next year.

There are so many reasons to love Sueños: From the gorgeous property, insanely comfortable beds and delicious food, to the incredible energy, staff that feel like family, and stunning yoga palapa. There truly is nothing not to love about Sueños. This was my fourth visit and I can say with confidence that I am a lifer. There is just something special about this place that keeps me coming back. Do yourself a favor and book your visit now, you won't regret it.

Sueños is so peaceful and private! It’s a great respite from the chaos of Tulum, but walking distance to all the action. It has the best beach lounge setup I saw anywhere along the beach. But the real attraction is the amazing staff! They take great care of their guests and make you feel comfortable and welcome.

we stayed for 3 nights at this lovely small hotel with a great beach , good food and understated luxurious rooms. We loved it all and would happily return - we all wished we had stayed longer.. a mix of clientele from families to friends & couples- great for anyone looking for a laid back retreat but also close to shops and other restaurants if wanted.

AMAZING. Five starts This is our second time staying here - I went with my wife (who insisted we only stay here again!) and my 7 year old daughter. We call Suenos Tulum "Our Heaven." Initially we were drawn to it b/c of the pool when she was only 5 - but then fell in love with the place as it reminds us of the old Tulum from 20 years ago, before it became so trendy and uber chic. Fantastic service from all of the staff and delicious meals at the restaurant - which you can also have on the beach (which is amazing and they have their own private area on the beach). Ivan will take amazing care of you at breakfast (included and it is so delicious and filling). They have everything you need - beach toys for kids, bug spray/sun block, they will even unprompted print out activity packs for the kids to play with. Every evening we enjoyed sitting by the fire and meeting other hotel guests from around the world. And we met plenty of other families with young kids at the hotel or those staying at the beach club next door. Don't hesitate - book now!

Spent 10 wonderful days in Suenos with my wife. Lovely breakfast, very nice decors and clean rooms, and really lovely people in a superb location that was peaceful and quiet. Location is just 5 min to everything. We already missing it…will definitely be back!
