Très décevant pour un 5 etoiles, l hôtel la maison blanche a perdu son faste d antan.... On arrive sur les étages de chambres sur moquettes non aspirées depuis des mois certainement tellement elles sont sales, on découvre certe une chambre spacieuse ( d'où le critère 5 étoiles) mais qui est vétuste et a besoin de rafraîchissement, la salle de bain est spacieuse mais sans confort et surtout avec des articles de toilettes déjà utilisés.... La literie reste confortable. Le petit déjeuner est un cauchemar....pas digne d un 5 étoiles . Il faut demander pour avoir des viennoiseries, le café il faut racler les fonds de thermos pour en avoir car ils ne rechargent pas, le fromage qui date de on ne sait quand et la charcuterie sèche et déshydratée. Vraiment vivement que les responsables se rendent compte de ce qu est un vrai 5 étoiles et même en Tunisie .... Ouvrez vos yeux!!!

Location is right in the heart of Tunis, close to all amenities, Professional staff always willing to help. Must also highlight the gentlemen at the door, at one occasion I was coming from across the road with a heavy box it was within seconds that the gentlemen noticed me from far away struggling with the box and came to assist with the box and carried it for me all the way to the room. Front office agents, Food & Beverage service staff, Housekeeping, Laundry all been great. Breakfast was good. Met a couple of occasions with the General Manager of the Hotel and he made it a point to sit with me and ask how my stay was. Could have not asked for more. Service of the hotel and the cleanliness was impeccable The hotel is old and tiered and deserves a renovation along with up gradation of systems such as elevators, AC, WIFI etc these seems to have been a reoccurring issue of certain breakdowns of systems during my 4 days stay, However I must admit that rectification of breakdowns did not take long to be maintained and back in action. The rooms are large with most of them views of the city, The hotel has so much potential taking into consideration the level of service they provide should it be renovated.

First sisters trip to Tunisia, the overall experience was really good. It makes a difference to where you stay and the people you interact with. People in Tunis are really nice, polite and helpful. Our First experience was with Dar El Jeld. We felt so welcomed by the staff. I would like to personally thank few of the staff. Emily for being really accommodating, always has a smile on her face, very helpful and informative. Adul Kadir, Firouz and Yousuf, the security guys, they helped us when we needed to go anywhere, at times they went with us so we did not get lost and Arslan, he was the driver for the hotel. He went out of his way to accommodate to our needs. Made the children comfortable to a point they considered him family and referred to Dar El Jeld as home. Lastly the receptionist in the spa (forgot her name) she was amazing. They are all truely an asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place. In the heart of Madina with the market right next to the hotel. We felt very safe at all times. Rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean, scenic view from rooftop. You just can't go wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

I lived twice for a total of four days. The first time the quilt was already used, the other bird's hair was above, and it was good to go to the front desk to clean up. After an hour, I didn't come up, but I found it again. The waiter didn't come for 2 hours before and after. Finally, he found him to remove all of our sheets, quilts, and pillowcases. I didn't come back. It took only two and a half hours to change the quilt. The result was not changed. The second time we made a suggestion before the check-in, it was really clean, but there was no breakfast but didn't remind us. We had to check out and told us to add 120 yuan for breakfast. About 200 people were famous. To be honest, half a person in Tunisia. Different hotels living in the month, her family's breakfast is small and poor, the variety is very poor, the place to eat is as big as a public toilet, 哎

I stayed in this hotel for a night, and I warn you, nothing is recommendable, except that dinner can be acceptable, not even extraordinary. For the rest, it is horrible: very little receptionist and who jokes with his pot while I was talking with him, very loaded street side room without double glass( I let you imagine the noise) And cerezes on the cake already infected nearby with a night box that, from 22 or 23h, makes all the walls of the room vibrate up to at least 2h of the morning. I have not closed the eye of the night. For the price you are requesting, you will find much better elsewhere.

The hotel is old and cheap but the receptionist was friendly and informative. There was no security guard at the entrance. The room was full of dust, there were holes in the bed sheets and they were dirty as well, I had skin rush due to that. The mattress was so stiff and hard, I woke up with a back pain. The air conditioner was not working so was the room was boiling during the summer I felt so insecure during my stay I'll never book there again. Not recommended!

In Tunis for one night, our manager reserved us to the diplomat.. and what error!!! This pseudo 4 stars is 15 minutes from Carthage Airport. Vesty decor, smell of cracked walls ...a hotel over time. The rooms are a valid copy of the hall and the rest of the hotel, with a 70's brine where everything is refreshed, used...Even the TV channels were in fashion.. analogical!! The only positive note, the kindness of the staff who prepared a late dinner despite the closure of the rest.

Scheduled for a superior triple room with children. But the bed was itchy. . . I don't feel clean. It's still so expensive. Not very satisfied. No free water, then the waiter stood in the room and asked for a tip. A little awkward. However, the attitude of the service staff was really good, and they accompanied me to buy supper at midnight. The location of the hotel is also super good, right outside the main street. very convenient. In fact, it is cheaper to spend money and live here.

I chose this hotel because I saw the highest score among the four-star hotels in Ctrip. The overall Tunisian hotel score is not high, and this one is just fine. What a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful Art Deco Building right in the centre with easy access to the Medina, shops, restaurants, railway, etc. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly from the Reception to the dining room staff and housekeeping. On arrival we were allocated a room on the lst floor at the rear of the building. There was a small block of flats not far from the hotel building where unfortunately there was a dog that barked a lot of the time which included late into the night and very early morning. It appeared to be left out on the balcony. I don't know what the hotel can do about this but it is a problem. The next day we were given a room on the 3rd floor at the front of the building. So thank you to the gentleman at reception who arranged this. It was perfect, no noise and like the first room was of a decent size and comfortable. The breakfast spread was great with hot and cold dishes and a lovely selection of cheeses, breads, pastries and much much more. A true feast. A well deserved Excellent rating (despite the barking dog) and we will definitely stay again.

Breakfast is OK, hotel location is OK, there is parking lot, but the hotel is a bit old, but the service is really good, one of our 4 people lost their mobile phone in the taxi, when I remembered the taxi had run far, the hotel security arranged immediately Check the monitoring, call up the license plate number, and help to contact the taxi company and the driver phone. I successfully retrieved the mobile phone within half an hour. The unexpected surprise was really touched. Even in China, it is not expected to be so high. effectiveness!
