Facilities: Two double beds. The layout is a bit like a one-bedroom and one-living room suite. It is still very spacious and has a terrace. The decoration style has a sense of design and ethnic characteristics. It is very comfortable and does not make people feel cheap or cumbersome. The air conditioner is also relatively powerful. It's actually not too hot at night, so we turned off the air conditioner. There is no elevator on the third floor. If you have a lot of luggage, you can ask the little brother to help you carry it. Environment: On Grape Folk Street, near Grape Valley, surrounded by B&Bs and with a vineyard in the backyard, the child picked grapes as he wished and was very happy. Hygiene: The overall cleaning is relatively clean. You can pay more attention to the underside of the bed. Service: The little brother's service is good, but I can't afford the room card, so I ran to the third floor to change it.

The hostel owner, the volunteers, and every fellow traveler I encountered - they transformed my trip. From acquaintances to close friends in such a short span, it was incredible. Their open-mindedness, their stories, and the warmth they exuded were infectious. I’m thrilled to say that many of those I met at the DAP Hostel are now close friends. The anticipation of reuniting with them is immense. If you ever find yourself in Turpan, and you crave genuine connections, DAP Hostel is the place. It’s more than accommodation; it’s a family waiting to be discovered.

I came to Grape Valley with my girlfriend and found this newly opened B&B. The cabins are very unique. The decoration in the yard is very warm and has an ethnic style. The butler's service attitude is very good. The enthusiastic young man introduced us to the good things of Turpan. Food, fun, beautiful things to see, and they even helped us carry our luggage. If you are not in a hurry and really don't want to leave, you must stay a few more days next time you come. It's great.

After entering the grape ditch, I was deeply attracted by its humanistic beauty. I entered the grape spring inn, the thoughtful service and delicious fruit plate. The first impression was very good. The room was clean and tidy without scale. It could be seen that the maintenance was great. His dishes were also delicious and the barbecue tasted good. As at August 2022, there is daily mucelic acid testing in the park next to the hotel, from 08:20-11:00. Using the Xinjiang health code, I was able to get tested there (as a foreigner) and the results showed up on the app. So, I didn't need to go into a hospital. The hotel is also a short walk away from the museum and a main street with a lot of restaurants that seemed to be popular. Taxis regularly passed in front of the hotel (Didi took a while, in my experience). My room was wide and bright, including the toilet and shower. In fact, the entire hotel feels wide - the lobby, breakfast room, the carpark. The staff were all helpful, even with my poor Chinese and their limited English. The breakfast selection was fair, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food.

Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.
