Fantastic hotel. Very close to the gondola. Hotel has all the facilities for a skier including a great steam room, X2 saunas, cold room and infrared cabin. Great food and amazing staff. You can not fault this hotel.Wonderful drying room for your boots and skis.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at. The location was great for access to the mountain. The staff were friendly and looked after me very well. I loved the food and the combination of buffet and table service dinner worked well. Thank you for looking after me so well!

Das Hintertuxerhof ist rundum ein super Familienhotel. Es liegt sehr nah am Skigebiet, hat eine warmherzige Kinderbetreuung, tolles Personal und leckeres Essen. Man merkt, dass es sich hier um einen gut geführten Familienbetrieb handelt, dem das Wohl der Gäste am wichtigsten ist.

I rarely give a hotel 5 stars but the Hintertuxerhof more than earned the rating. This was our first ski vacation with our young children and this kinder hotel was a perfect recommendation from friends who are ski instructors. The staff was very professional and helpful, the room was more than large enough for our family. The food was really excellent. We especially loved the game buffet one evening. The ladies working child care were awesome. The kids were begging to stay with them. A big hats off to Marta! Also, the location within walking distance of both the ski lifts and kids’ area was perfect. Overall, the Hintertuxerhof is just fantastic for a young family on a ski vacation. We already look forward to next year.

wie schon beim ersten Besuch, vor einem Jahr, FAST alles perfekt !!! Scheinbar lebt das Hotel hauptsächlich von Stammgästen, was alleine schon eine Art von Qualitätsgarantie ist. Es ist als Familienhotel deklariert, das da mal klar ist. Nicht entsetzt sein, wenn beim Abendessen eine Geräuschkulisse von einer deutschen Großkommune mit 10 Kindern, Terror aufkommt. Kann leicht passieren/passiert oft. Wer Ruhe sucht, wird im Hotel diese sicher nicht finden. Aber das passt schon so Wir waren 2 mal da und sind schon wieder eingebucht. Die wenigen (lästigen) Kleinigkeiten die uns NICHT gefallen haben sind: -＞Doppelbett Matratzen waren WEIT über "end of live" !!! 30 cm vom Rand weg konnte man gar nicht mal drauf sitzen, weil man sofort abgestürzt wäre (ZIMMER 209) Beim Schlaf sollte man tunlichst nicht in die Rand-Nähe kommen, sonst ist man draußen :-( Diverses Feedback über Mängel im Zimmer (marode Haken für Bademäntel/Handtücher, Leselicht kaputt) wurden zur Kenntnis genommen, passiert ist halt nichts (war uns aber auch ziemlich unwichtig). Und wenn man sich vornimmt, hier zu Entschleunigen, kommt man auch mit dem Lift, irgendwann, zurecht ;-) .... es könnte sein das er irgendwann auch mal kommt :-) UNS GEFÄLLT ES UND WIR KOMMEN WIEDER, auch wenn Gäste aus AT an nur einer Hand abzählbar sind

Just got back from our second ski holiday in this hotel. Gorgeous location, very clean, good food, familiar vibes and offers various fun activities for the young and the young at heart. Our children (9/12 y.o)loved it, and we are definitely going back next winter.

Very convenient location, the funicular could be reached on foot within five minutes. The room was cozy, although I was a little confused by the lack of a separate door to the room with shower and toilet. One of the most enjoyable aspects is the food at dinners and breakfasts. I can also note the helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant

Allways happy to be back at Hintertuxerhof with my family. Everybody including grand children love it. Great food, wonderful care of the team. The landscape, air, hikes are amazing. Always something to do for the children.

Wonderful hotel in walking distance of the gondola. Great owners and staff, very clean spacious rooms with a balcony, fantastic breakfast buffet and dinner buffet, perfect for families with an outdoor playground, tennis courts and indoor playroom.
