Larsmont Cottages

Cabin was wonderful, beautiful views. Spacious and comfortable. Nice to have kitchen for coffee/tea in morning.

Our stay at Larsmont had plusses and minuses. The setting is spectacular! Sauna, pool, fire pits - so lovely. The staff is very helpful and kid activities were great. However the shadow over the stay was cleanliness and maintenance issues. One of our rooms had a torn comforter in several spots, and the spare blanket was grossly dirty. Vents had visible dirt. There were onion peel bits in the kitchen sink and under the sink. The whirlpool leaked from the handle so we weren’t able to use it. So for the premium rate we paid of nearly $1k a night there were obvious disappointments. Love the setting and amenities, but maintenance and cleanliness issues mean we would not pay that rate again, and would ask for freshly laundered blankets.

It was the perfect place for my introduction to the beauty of the north shore. We have some big lakes in Montana, but wow, this was mind blowing.

I would like to start out this review saying that the staff I worked with were all nice and helpful. However, we did not receive the room we booked. Normally this wouldn't be as big of deal, but we had booked one of their 2 level rooms with a full kitchen. Instead we received a 1 level room with no kitchen. This was unfortunate as we packed food in a cooler in anticipate of making family dinners with the kitchen. Also, we had hoped to be able to put the kids (1 and 6 year old) to bed upstairs while my wife and I enjoyed some movies/games/etc downstairs. Additionally, due to the layout of where we were staying upstairs both of our rooms had independent key locks, so we had to choose between keeping our doors open at night or our kids not being able to get into our room if needed. We alerted the staff right away (management was away and never contacted me). They apologized, but said they were fully booked so they couldn't move our rooms. I do think the staff was sympathetic, and they tried to help where they could (brought us a personal grill), but the whole experience was quite unfortunate.

Just go....you won't regret it! The cabins are really nice, close to the lake and really clean! The main lodge has a bar, restaurant, pool and coloring/crafty things for kids to do. 100% recommend!

The staff was very friendly and the property was well kept. We really enjoyed being able to have a campfire under the stars and by the water.

We hosted a friends and family celebration for our anniversary at Larsmont Cottages and everything was perfect. The staff attention to detail was outstanding and the amenities perfect for our group. The on-site restaurant did a great job catering. We come to Larsmont Cottages often and love it!

Another chance to get away to the North Shore for a bit of a chill. Larsmont Cottages did not disappoint. The resort is super clean. The staff is uber friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed. The Adirondack chairs around the firepits next to the lake are super cool. The pool, hot tub and sauna are fantastic. And who can beat the views? We will surely be back!

Beautiful property on the lake shore. Cottage was well appointed. We enjoyed our short stay. Close to great places to visit.
