The area around the cabins is beautiful an well maintained. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the cabin. The ligtswitch came out of the wall, the bathroom door didn't close, the basin in bathroom-so small it felt like you almost can't wash your hands properly and Unfortunately the list goes on. Staff was friendly but one met us on the last day at reception and didn't even have any shoes in. Felt like we paid too much for what we got.

A great place with a beautiful view. In the area it’s hard to beat the venue for the price. There are some things that can improve, but overall, great value for money. The cabins are located next to a small lake giving you a beautiful view of the Magoebaskloof mountains throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful when needed.

1. When we got to Cabin no 4 after 2:00, They were still cleaning and we could not go in. The dirt was still all over the kitchen. 2. Narina's toilet smells so badly that we did not wanted to use it, who is using that bathroom and who is cleaning it?

Your place was very excellent and comfortable for the family I recommended for other guests to visit to experience what I did being at magoebaskloof getaway was I good choice for us we really enjoyed.

It was a nice and peaceful stay, I would definitely book there again when I am in the area. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place to stay at. Also a beautiful place near a wedding venue.

What a wonderful experience from staff to stay. Loved everything about the place. Felt like waking up in an enchanted forest to the birds and the morning dew and the monkeys playing. Was the most peaceful place of rest we've had in a looong time. Loved the breakfast, Comfortable bed and had everything we needed and appreciate in a weekend stayover.

This is a beautiful setting, with lovely cabins which is sadly very poorly run. Stayed two nights while attending a wedding. It was a freezing cold few days and we had no hot water. No heaters in the room and staff on sight were reluctant to provide this. On the last morning when we eventually did have hot water, the tap for one of the showers literally fell out of the wall, resulting in the bathroom being flooded. Threadbare towels, limited crockery and cutlery provided for self-catering. A big unwieldy bunch of keys which make opening doors and security gates a chore. On a positive note, WiFi was fast. Staff tried hard to attend to the difficulties but management has a lot to answer for. A frustrating stay

This place is so beautiful but i was horrified to see that the river bed is being used as a dumpsite. Not just put there to be cleaned later but a landfill right on the river waiting for the next flood to wash it all into the water. Im devastated at this. What can be done? Who do i report this to?
