Cabins West

What a great place to stay. First off, the cabins are new and really nicely decorated, very welcoming and tasteful. And they are absolutely immaculate. The bathrooms are so nice, as is the kitchen. And the location was very convenient — you could step out the front door and in a minute be standing at the beach or on a breathtaking trail. I know Tofino, a town about 40 minutes north, is the trendy surfing town tourists flock to, but Ucluelet had spectacular trails to explore and a stunning coastline. And with some nice little restaurants nearby, we will definitely be back.

We were in the lower level of a 2 story dwelling. Although the place was attractive and very clean there were noise disturbances including footsteps, conversations, a midnight argument on the upper level and it affected our stay. It prevented us from relaxing, sleeping, or enjoying our time.

We really enjoyed our time here. Bob was very informative, called us to make sure we were informed about what to expect when we arrived. The cabin is warm and cozy, definitely a home away from home. Also walk distance to trails and beaches around was a plus. We are looking forward to come back soon.

This was a last-minute getaway, so grateful for the availability. This is essentially one of two suites in a cabin-like duplex—four on the property. Communication was excellent in helping us navigate Hwy closures. Our stay was extended one night due to an all-day closure, and we stayed in a lower suite. Great with considerate neighbours, a nightmare with new guests thumping about from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am. The sound reverberated in our suite. So loud that my partner's Apple watch, sitting on a side table, would light up with each new thud. Access to Wild Pacific Trail and other hikes - outstanding! The bike trail linking Ucluelet to Tofino is fantastic, though it is best to bypass downtown Ucluelet through the residential area until clear of it.

We enjoyed our stay at Cabins West. The property was exactly as described on ******* and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed our time in Ucluelet and neighboring Tofino - a beautiful place!

Very nice cabin. Clean and roomy. Only complaint is the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable with a very thin mattress not sufficient to provide padding for the bars underneath.
