鹿教湯の中でホテルらしいホテルといえば斎藤ホテルです。 プールやフィットネスなどあり若者でも飽きずに過ごせるところじゃないでしょうか。 古さはあまり感じられず清潔でよし、接客もよし。気配りもできて不満点はほぼありません。 部屋はこたつありエアコンあり暖房器具あり、眺めもよいです。 一応湯治の宿なのでミニキッチンありです。 食事はお年寄り向けのビュッフェということで、若者は物足りない意見もありますが、 そんなことはありません。 肉料理も何種類かあったりデザートの種類も少なくはないです。 ただ敢えていうと普通のどこにでもあるバイキング+αって位置づけでしょうか。 αの部分は決して品数は少なくないのでご安心を。 珍しいものもあれば味付けもいい料理が多く、普通のホテルのバイキングで飽きた方でも多少は満足できるかと思われます。 不満点を言えば夕食にフリードリンクがないこと。 お年寄りがメインだからお茶や紅茶、コーヒーで十分だろうと思っているのでしょうか？ このホテルの価格帯だとフリードリンクは付けるべきかと思います。 温泉は内湯は適温、露天はややぬるめ、源泉+循環、夜間は塩素入り。露天は塩素臭が強かったです。 この価格帯だと源泉掛け流しが当たり前だと思い込んでいたため意外でした。 しかも夜中、早朝は内湯のジェットバスが停止していたり、露天は湯口からお湯が流れていなかったりで、早朝派の自分としては残念でした。 ちなみに貸切風呂はやや熱め。横に加水できるレバーがあるので気軽に調整可能です。 90分と長めで窓を開けられるので涼しい外気を入れる事もできます。 こっちも循環なのかな？塩素臭がするなぁと思えばすると思えるほどの感じです。 翌日に入ったので鼻が鈍感でよくわかりませんでした。 ちなみに鹿教湯温泉なので泉質的には一泊程度だとあまり特徴がないという湯って感じです。 湯治してようやく病が回復傾向に向かうってことですかね？ 総評としては欠点は所々ありますが、鹿教湯で安心できる宿といえば斎藤ホテルで間違いないでしょう。 特に食欲があるお年寄りにはいいんじゃないかと思いました。 そういえば目立つところにおいてないせいか飲泉場で温泉を飲み忘れました・・・
