Terrible, definitely not recommended. Hotel is very old. 70s Sil. Had to sleep without heating for two nights in December, despite multiple complaints. We also had broken bedside lamps and sockets and TVs that didn't work. Leaky windows and mold in the bathroom. Breakfast dishes not clean.

Die Lage ist top! Der Rest Schrott. Man merkt es jeder losen Schraube an, dass hier niemand mehr Interesse hat, dieses Hotel noch lange zu betreiben. Beispiele: In unserem Zimmer 36 tropfte die Dusche permanent, ein Bettenrost nur noch Flickwerk, Lavabolampe ohne Lichtschalter (***…), Schrankgriff weggebrochen. Dieses lieblose Hotel in der deutschen Provinz erreicht nicht mal Kreisklasse. Sehr schade!

The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to see the city. Of course, you have to take into account that, given its location right next to the cathedral, you can hear the bells very clearly at night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel is getting older. My room faced the back yard. There was probably some kind of cooling unit running there all night long. I would have liked this cooling at night. The rooms are not air conditioned. The room itself was very simply decorated (I don't want to use the word bland). The breakfast buffet wasn't particularly rich, but it was very appetizing. The food all looked fresh. It was enough for one night but unfortunately not for longer.

Location, location, location. You are literally in the shadow of Ulmer Münster cathedral - the tallest and perhaps largest in the world. It has pews to hold 10,000 people. I could have thrown a tennis ball and bounced it off the wall of the cathedral from my third floor room. The views in the evening and morning were spectacular, as were the bells. The room itself (No.28, third floor) was quirky in layout, but that made it more fun. They’ve been updated nicely, with newer bathroom fixtures. Luxurious and flawless wouldn’t describe the room, but unique, fun, comfortable, hip, clean, and a few minor imperfections would. We opened the three windows wide, let the cool night air in, and it was magical. It had two rooms and two showers, a bunk bed and a standard double bed. Nice duvets, a sitting room. Toilet is kind of…open. There is only a sliding, frosted glass door shutting it off from the rest of the room - kind of amusing. One of the showers is off the sitting room, also lightly frosted glass. All of this would be fine for a family. Less so for two couples, or a group of four friends. Kids though, and adventurous parents, would love it.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in der Innenstadt und Gaststätten sowie Geschäfte sind schnell zu erreichen. Mein Einzelzimmer war jedoch eher flopp als top. Das Bad ist aus dem letzten Jahrhundert und insbesondere die Dusche ein Kraus. Wasser kommt fast gar nicht mehr aus dem verkalkten Duschkopf und sauber ist etwas anderes. Die Toilettenspülung tropfte am Betätigungshebel und auf kaltes Wasser aus dem Hahn konnte ich lange warten. Das Schlimmste ist jedoch die Klimaanlage im Hinterhof. Das kontinuierliche Aufheulen des Lüfters raubt jedem den Schlaf. Für den Preis einfach nicht gerechtfertigt. Frühstück auch erst ab 8.00 Uhr. Dann lieber B&B

Got here Sunday afternoon 5ish ....no one at reception keys left in safe ( no problem) rooms clean... but only see through blinds . not good for keeping out the light glad I stayed in Oct .. also possible to see through in the morning .. no password for Wi-Fi.. great ... got up at 06.30 to have a shower .. NO hot water .. no one at reception when I came back from a walk to get coffee at 07.30 .. for the price I was hopping for breakfast.... all in all for the price I paid for 2 rooms I wouldn't stay here again
