Premier Inn Ulverston

Problem checking in took about 40minutes but I think this was trip.com fault as wanted payment when I clearly showed it fully paid before hand. The place was clean and seemed new self check in machines not working and staff looked over worked and stressed. Breakfast was terrible as compared to other chains under cooked food and to be fair other guests being too greedy and taking all the breakfast items.

The hotel is modern, clean and located in a good spot to explore the town and 25 mins from Windermere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered to make me fresh poached eggs even though there were plenty on the breakfast counter. Free parking and a nice view of the river and lighthouse. Great value for money and the food was good for the prices. I would definitely stay again.

Most importantly thanks to Janet and Jake. Jake suggested we take a disabled room rather than the room allocated which was a long way from the lift. (I have mobility problems) Then on the Sunday morning he dealt with a problem I had about a previous booking and gave us a free breakfast for our next booking in December which he organised. The only down side was the mattress in the disabled room was very firm with little give for aching legs. Having said that I had the best nights sleep in a 'strange place' that I have had for many years. Breakfast good as ever. Janet showed me where the butter was as I can't see round corners, and the toast machine toasted the bread in one go, so no having to wait for a second heating. What was not to like.

Brilliant hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful However, special mention must go to Helen who really went above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable experience. So,so helpful. Thanks Helen

Sam and her team do there best to accommodate anyone , I been staying here along time for work , nothing is to much of a problem if they can help they will go over and beyond , food is nice and made to feel home from home .Night staff are always friendly and on hand to assist , and the cleaning is to a level I would expect ,

We visited the Premier Inn in Ulverston for a drink. We were greeted by Logan on entry. We only came down for one but we were made to feel so welcomed by Logan, Maya and Sam that we had a couple more! A simple functional bar made lovely by chatty staff. Nice clean bar and restaurant area with some good wine choices. We will definitely be back.

I have to say the staff here Dave, Tyler and Emma have been fantastic, sadly we were here staying for a family funeral but the staff have been so caring and understanding after learning the reason we were staying at this time. They were able to sort out an early check in for us so we could get changed ready for the funeral after the couple of hours drive to get here, they have looked after my parents who came down a few days earlier, offering a personal touch and giving my mum a sympathy card from the staff members. The rooms were tidy and clean, extra pillows were available and a good hair dryer already in the room. This really shows the care the staff have for their customers and that personal touch meant so much to my family, thank you we will be back
