Wir waren mit einer Reisegruppe 5 Tage im Hotel Umag Plava Laguna. Das Hotel liegt in einer grossartigen Anlage direkt am Meer. Das Hotel selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen und sollte vor allem im Bereich Speisesaal aufgefrischt werden. Der Speisesaal gleicht eher einer Kantine. Sehr eng bestuhlt und der Lärmpegel ist enorm. Das Essen ist aber gut bis sehr gut. Leider hat es während unserem Aufenthalt 3 Tage geregnet was zur Folge hatte, dass sich alle Gäste nach dem Essen an der Bar aufhielten und kein Platz mehr vorhanden wahr. Fazit, 21 Uhr aufs Zimmer fernsehen gehen. Ich hätte erwartet, dass das Hôtel zusätzliche Sitzmöglichkeiten geschaffen hätte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, es fehlt aber ein bisschen an Herzlichkeit. Für Reisegruppen ist das Hotel, auch dank der grossen Bus Parkplätze, ideal. Zwei Wochen Badeferien für uns eher nein..

Excellent hotel. Fairly clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent food, wide choice, plenty of it. Very kind staff. Indoor heated swimming pool. Gym accessible to all. Inside there is a small shop with souvenirs and a hairdresser. During this period it was not possible to use all the services as it was low season (e.g. outdoor swimming pool, entertainment...). The location is fantastic, possibility of walking along the seafront. Private parking, nearby, for a fee (€1.60 per day). Excellent value for money.

Great resort, rooms nice spacious and clean. bathroom large , Room had fridge. resort had breakfast, you could get all inclusive but wanted to see other dinning options in area. 50feet from sea and beautiful swimming area. places to layout all set up. they supply umbrellas and towels as needed. stairs thanks rails to help you get into water. advice wear water shoes , rocky inside water. breakfast large selection. have a spa and other stuff in hotel . Massage on site. indoor and outdoor pool. outside sitting with bar. to get around there is a type of train to get around area. Simple to use. staff friendly and helpful. good for family and romantic getaway

Hotel Umag Plava Laguna has very nice beaches (sand and also gravel), pools and a waterpark for kids. Breakfast was great though quite crowded. The room was clean and rather large yet visibly not the newest anymore. Umag is a very safe town super suitable for families with children and overall so underrated.
