Although there were no staff who could speak Korean, they communicated using a translator and were kind in many ways! I think I'll go again later haha

The hotel is 20 minutes away from Ureshino Onsen Station. If you take the bus and get off at the nearby stop, it takes about 8 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with drinks and snacks in the lobby, ice bars at the hot spring soup, and Hizen Ninja Village and Toyotama nearby. Hime Shrine, but there are not many restaurants. The hotel only provides locals with one stay and two meals. Please be careful about transportation and go to Ureshino Onsen.

It was very good. First of all, I really liked that there was a shuttle service. On the day of my stay, I went to Nagasaki, and they drove me to Ureshino Onsen Station and came back to pick me up again. The day after my stay, I went to Hakata, and they gave me a ride again to the bus terminal (Ureshino IC Bus Center). The front desk provided detailed information such as Shinkansen times and other necessary information. The staff are very friendly. As a welcome dessert, they gave me a simple snack made of chocolate and strawberries in a cool box, and my name was written in chocolate on the lid of the box. Even though it wasn't my birthday, I felt as if I had received birthday service. It was a tatami room, and the main meal for dinner was Kaiseki cuisine served in the room, with Saga beef sukiyaki as the main dish. The other dishes were delicious, and the meat was of good quality and not too greasy, so I really enjoyed it. For breakfast, we ate a set meal prepared on the second floor, which was also delicious. The hot spring tofu is especially excellent. There is a simple snack bar in the lobby and the snacks are delicious. At night, you can enjoy free beer and highballs. There is an indoor and outdoor bath on the top floor and the hot spring water is good. I stayed at another ryokan the day before, and compared to other ryokans, the water was much more slippery and I felt like they used the good hot spring water. There is ice cream next to the hot springs and it is quite delicious. You can leave your luggage before check-in/after check-out. When I went there, rice was given as a gift when I checked out to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Shinkansen at Ureshino Onsen Station. I was grateful that the Saga region is famous not only for its Saga beef but also for its delicious rice. It was a very satisfying stay in many ways. I'll go again.

The water quality of Ureshino Onsen is very unique and cannot be found in the other area. I touched my arms and legs in the bath and felt very smooth and soapy but the feeling disappeared once I went out of the bath. It means the water quality caused it. People working at the hotel are friendly and welcoming. Near the lobby you can have beer, wine ,soft drinks, tea with some crackers, peanuts etc free of charge(of course the offering time is restricted so you might not need extra alcohol during the dinner. The town is small so you can walk around to enjoy the atmosphere. So far I liked Hijiori in Iwate and Nozawa in Nagano among many many hot springs in Japan and Ureshino joined in my likings. I thank again for the reception people always smiling and informative!

Although the building is old, the hygiene of the room was clean enough that I didn't have to worry about it. The service was perfect, starting with welcome sweets, luxurious meals that you couldn't finish, hot springs with good quality, and detox water before bathing. The staff at the inn were friendly and fun, showing us directions and telling jokes. I went to the public bath first thing in the morning, but I was a little concerned about the garbage in the washing area. I think this will be difficult because I think there are cleaning timings and customer morale.

On July 19, 2021, I visited with my elderly mother. I would like to thank the female staff at the front desk, the male employee, the male employee in his 30s who was in charge of serving the meals, and all the male employees who saw me off when I checked out. My mother has always liked this inn, so we stayed here again at her request, and both my mother and I are deeply humbled and grateful for the great care they took in consideration of my feelings. Also, I will continue to repeat it. I was able to stay happily with the kind consideration. I'm really thankful to you. I can't help but say thank you and would like to post this.

We stayed at this ryokan to start our tour of Saga Prefecture in early November 2021. It was a Sunday, which traditionally is the best day of the week to stay as many have to work from Monday. Perhaps it was due to the increase of those working remotely from home, but the ryokan was almost full judging from the crowded parking space. Registration was quick and we were momentarily shown to our room facing the river flowing below and the hills on the back. We were warmly welcomed by the lady staff that accompanied us to the room and brought our welcome snack. It appeared all the ryokan staff were happy with the return of travelers, where a couple of weeks back they may have been more concerned of the pandemic. I had a quick bath in their onsen bath on the top floor before dinner. Dinner was served in our room, which has become customary since the rise of this pandemic. We had ordered their speciality, sukiyaki of Saga beef. This was composed of some excellent local specialties as appetizers and the main beef sukiyaki. Our server asked if we needed help with the sukiyaki which you need to cook for yourselves, to which we said yes. She put the vegetables and then meat into the pot, and advised that we could have the meat as soon as it turned color. She left the room, asking us to call her again for the rice and miso soup as well as dessert, once we were done with the main course. It was an excellent sukiyaki, not too much sweet. But there was so much beef, that we had very little room left for the rice, or the udon noodles you stew in the pot at the end. The facilities were clean, and the staff all very friendly. We had a most enjoyable stay.
