Check in a nd check out are no problem. Price is great, if all you care about is a clean bed and decent rate. Telephones don't work most of the time. WIFI???? Forget it. I had to go to the lobby to get my work done. Even after my complaint, someone came in and brought in a gaget that did not work except when he was there. lol (I guess you can see the trick) Breakfast, which was included in my rate, was below par and even contenetial breakfast in North America is better. The Indoor Jacuzzi, Sauna were broken and the rooms were used as storage for water bottles and equipment.

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Volley Hotel. I was in Istanbul as a medical tourist where I had face lift surgery. I travelled alone and was very apprehensive about staying alone in a hotel after surgery, but the staff were so kind and attentive that I can honestly say they made what could potentially have been a really horrible experience very comfortable. The staff are extremely attentive and go out of their way to make sure you are having the best stay possible. The buffet breakfast was really good with an excellent selection of fresh, high quality food and the A La Carte Restaurant was also very good. The rooms were comfortable and the very small problem I had with my shower (it was stuck on the overhead function) was rectified swiftly by maintenance. The room attendants were warm and friendly and respected that I wanted some peace and weren't invasive at all. The only down side to the hotel is the WIFI - the connection isn't great in the rooms themselves, hopefully they will look in to this, if you are a heavy Internet user it's probably a good idea to arrange some mobile data with your phone provider before coming. All in all, a fantastic stay and I'll definitely come here again. Thank you, Volley Hotel.

Nice enough hotel, but quite sterile and lacking any real character. Restaurant is OK, food not bad, but again lacks any atmosphere. Breakfast is OK. Room service got my order completely wrong but I guess put down to language issue. I had a view of a huge car park from my room.

We arrived and checked in to our room, both the phones were not working for 3 days, not allowing us to call room service or reception, we complain about this and a man comes upto the room to get the phone in the bedroom and takes it away As he walks into the room he is full on STARING at me, looking at me up and down as he is walking across the room, making me feel extremely uncomfortable, as my husband is talking to him he’s still looking at me up and down. He comes back with the phone and continues to do the same, making me feel very uncomfortable. Later my husband walks upto this man asking where the laundry is, so we can wash our clothes. He raises his hand, shoos him away and says “No English”, you’d think if you had any customer service he would go and get someone who spoke English. Instead he continued to be extremely rude and said No English, waved his hand and walked away. Very rude. Not how you should treat your paying guests. We found this phone situation very strange because out of nowhere the bathroom phone rang, we assume they disconnected the phones on purpose so we couldn’t phone for anything (as the hotel was full) maybe they just didn’t want to deal with any phone calls When we arrived we asked for Fresh Orange Juice, despite there being a juicer in the restaurant behind the counter with oranges all around it, we got told this is just for show. After we made our complaints they all of a sudden brought orange juice to the room out of nowhere. Also very strange as I thought the juicer was just for show! Overall this was a very strange and bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if your looking for peace and privacy, because it was just problem after problem for us. We checked out early and changed our hotel. Too much hassle and stress it was not a nice experience.

Highly recommended. The rooms are extremely clean, there is air conditioning, wifi and a safe. At breakfast and at the buffet there is a really huge selection. The pool is very inviting and clean. Most of all I have to highlight the staff, especially the employee Sinan Efe. He read every guest's wishes from their eyes, was very helpful and gave me lots of tips on what I could do in Istanbul.

We stayed here for four nights with the missus. Our stay was excellent. I cannot speak too highly of the staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Some didn't speak great English but I haven't learnt Turkish so I can't complain. The room was large clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower spacious.

Staying at the minute after surgery. Hotel is good. Nice looking from outside and when you enter lobby there are nice sofas you can chill on or there are tables outside if you want to sit and have a coffee and a smoke. The staff helped me up to the room with my luggage. Ordered room service the first night, portion was huge and delicious. Not expensive either. I went to the restaurant last night and there is an adjoining part where you can have your meal, still indoors but you can smoke also, it is very nice. There was a cat who was trying to steal my dinner but I got the staff members attention and he put it outside. Again nice meal and last fe portions! The room is very good, a double bed, firm which is fine. Good bathroom with shampoo, shower gel etc. Free tea, coffee and water. There is also a little fridge so that was handy There is a TV but no English channels. My room is onto the main road and therefore it's quite noisy (traffic, people, dogs) but I suppose you can't fault the hotel for this. All in all a lovely hotel and I would stay again but bring ear plugs 😁 Oh! And a new thing for me was the 'prayer calls' expect to be wakened by these. I didn't know what they were before I stayed here as had never heard them before.

Summary: Upon checking into my room I discovered the bathroom sink leaked, air con didn't work, room phone was unplugged and the bath initially wouldn't drain. In addition, room service doesn't take card payment only cash and the option to have food charged to my room got lost in translation. Needless to say, I'm unimpressed. In regards to my leaking sink, I ventured down to reception to complain and was informed someone would be along to fix it. Having waited more than hour, I went again to reception asking for assistance. I said I was going out for the afternoon and I was informed that someone would take a look at the sink in my absence. Upon my return back to my room, there was still a pool of water on the bathroom floor and the sink continued to leak when I ran the tap. This time (having plugged in the phone) I called reception who, several hours after my initial 2 complaints, finally sent maintenence! Hot and bothered after a busy day, all I wanted to do was shower and rest. Instead I had to endure the comings and goings of the maintenance man and his banging and crashing in the bathroom. I also asked maintenence to look at the air-con, which he resolved. Once maintenence had finished I then contacted reception for a 4th time requesting someone to clean up the mess less by maintenance. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait long for the cleaning crew's arrival.
