Property was great. Hotel clean. The guest during the stay were loud and terrible. Was well after 1am that it got quiet. Called front desk but nothing happened

A boys hockey team was booked in the hotel, they used the “meeting room “ which was directly across from our room. There was constant noise parents kept bringing in and out plastic totes banging the walls chairs pizza parties etc… worst of it was the boys playing hockey outside our room tile floor plastic hockey sticks and put a dozen 12 year old boys together playing it’s very loud. This was at 7 am the front desk did nothing and we didn’t want to yell at the boys they were just enjoying themselves but we got no sleep! Late night and early morning. Why didn’t the hotel put one from the group in this room? The cleaning staff was horrible too so we left the room to try to get breakfast across the hall these boys and parents were eating machines not leaving anything for anyone else loading up all the milk bottles and yogurt in bags and piling up their plates so we were only gone 10 minutes tops and our room was done by cleaning staff, they made the bed changed dirty towels for clean nothing else, the coffee table had food grease on it they never wiped it down or vacuumed as there was visible confetti on the rug when we checked it. This wasn’t our first time staying here but it was our last the staff didn’t care!

I really like this hotel, and we stay here often because my son goes to MVCC in Utica.
They do advertise a pool which was not available. They should say that in their description, however I did get a generous refund.
The housekeeping staff could be better.

The sink in room 107 didn't function properly. The stopper was broken and water drained slowly, as if the drain was fixing to clog up.
The breakfast staff was excellent.

Not the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Carpet was a little rough looking. Breakfast was good. Location was great as we were passing thru on 90 west. Just wished they offered more by in the way of vending and snacks. Front desk didn’t take cash for sundries.
