This was a good value overnight stay for central Utrecht, and great to have the private bathroom facilities. The room only has floor radiator that you can control, but I found it would only heat the side of the room nearest to it and not the rest of the room towards the bathroom. It wasn't a terrible issue, but a little irritating to be so cold everytime you walked to and from the bathroom.
Aside from that, there was a great view to the square from my room (#105) and a nice lounge area in the common space outside the room to work from or relax.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. The property is clean but I wish there are more lamp or light next to the table or the electric outlet.

This hostel is the perfect place for a weekend in Utrecht. We were 2 friend with 3 kids under 4 years old and the personnel was extremely kind to us. The structure is well equipped to host kids, they have high chairs for breakfast and also baby cots upon request. Cannot recommend enough.

Stayokay gère plusieurs auberges en Hollande. Mais on est bien loin de l'esprit auberge de jeunesse. Sachez d'abord qu'une place qui vaut 30 euros le jeudi en vaudra 55 le vendredi et repassera à 30 le dimanche, et ce quelques soit la saison et le remplissage de l hôtel. Optimisation des recettes ! De plus il n'y a plus de coin cuisine collective mais à la place des restaurants ou on compte bien que vous dépensiez un peu... Résultat pas de lieu de rencontre et d échange et pas de convivialité, mais c'est plus rentable... Pour le reste accueil très sympa et super bien placé ! Et puis le strict tchek-in à 15h00 (j'y suis allé 2 fois) sous prétexte que mon lit étais pas prêt ( il étais 14h00) c'est pas très pratiques en hiver.

Stayokay Utrecht is part hostel with bunk beds, and part hotel with very basic rooms. Staff is nice and helpful. It is very centrally located on a busy square. Very noisy during the night if your room faces the square. They give free earplugs at the reception.

Very pleased with this property. We decided to try a hostel for one night during our trip to let our kids see a hostel. We were so pleasantly surprised by this hostel. We did pay for upgrades like linen service and towels and Kate check out. Worth it to us. It was nicer than all our much more expensive hotels in three cities in Belgium. The location was fantastic. The service was great. We loved the little restaurant and bar connected to it and used their games. We would all stay here again.
