Also, when we opened the windows the noise from the outside (people partying or chatting) was too much. The locker wasn't in working condition which created problems in securing our valuables. "The hotel is nice in terms of the kitchen and its amenities, but a hotel with a kitchen definitely needs to be cleaned, or at least have a vacuum cleaner in the room. It didn't make sense to us that only those staying longer than 7 days can benefit from the cleaning service free of charge (Yes, you can request towel and linen changes and room cleaning, but there are significant fees). There was also insufficient shampoo and shower gel in the shower. In addition, bike rental should be free for hotel guests, or at least affordable, or those with a vehicle should be able to park for free. They charge very high fees for each of these, which is unreasonable. Additionally, there was broken glass under the single bed in the room, which made us realize that the cleaning wasn't adequate anyway."

"The hotel was perfect!!! It is right in the centre of the city!!! You can reach anything you need within 15 minutes! Interior is modern and cosy. Everything is right as it should be!!! I like it!!! The room amazing! It was the first time when I lived in anything like this!!! Highly recommended!!! They have coffee machine inside the very room! The coffee is delicious! The view from my room was unbelievable!!!"

"The location is close to the center, the university district is very close. People were friendly at check-in. The room has basic furnishings, in my case there was a thick layer of dust on the windowsill and on the wooden blinds. After I reported this, it was neatly resolved There is a sofa that you can also turn into a sofa bed, which is not only grubby but also too big for the space. There is no closet space The shower itself was fine, but there is no shower curtain or door, so little privacy You cannot wash hands in the toilet room itself, you must do so in the shower area. Room is gloomy decorated concrete gray with no paintings or other accessories. A nice TV and an excellent mini fridge The room is very noisy, you wake up several times a night due to the neighbors door closing, for example I won't be coming back here again anytime soon"

"Nice hotel and perfect location. As showering realized there wasn't any body wash (empty) or lotion (empty) I am sure housekeeping forgot to fill. Not a big deal but sometimes these things are necessary. The water was also not hot coming from the rain shower but it did come from the hand held sprayer. Hot showers were needed as it was very cold day of walking around Utrecht."

"I stayed here for 4 nights and the rooms are quite basic but the beds are comfortable and clean and the shower is great quality and the breakfast area is simple but works well and overall it is good quality and value for money. The restaurant area union house was a former music venue and the staff and food here are very good also, I’d recommend this hotel and stay here again"

It was very warm in the room when the sun was full, there was only a fan but we were sitting there that the warm weather was about 26 degrees."
