A nice clean little hotel on the outskirts of Verona, not too far from the airport. I used it whilst on business. Everyone was friendly and polite. Rooms are a good size and come with all the basic necessities to enjoy a comfortable night, including good shower and plenty of bed space. I did not eat here at night but had the breakfast which is the one weak spot I found. The quality is not good compared to the rest of the hotel. I mean this in the nicest possible way as breakfast service was good but brioche, fruit juice etc not good. using the online pre-book breakfast service is also not particularly recommended. All said and done i was happy here and would certainly stay again.

Come ormai da consuetudine i compleanni li festeggiamo a Gardaland Hotel è quello dello scorso fine settimana era un compleanno particolarmente importante: il 40° di mia moglie. Posso riassumere l'esperienza in 3 parole: QUALITÀ, PASSIONE E PREPARAZIONE! Sulla qualità, sia della cena che dell'intero soggiorno sapevo di andare sul sicuro, siamo ospiti abituali da diversi anni e con noi non ne hanno mai sbagliata una. Con la struttura vicino al 100% di occupazione (parliamo di oltre 1300 ospiti) e l'annosa problematica della carenza di personale la passione per il proprio lavoro e la grande preparazione hanno fatto la differenza; tempistiche perfette, richieste soddisfatte al 100% e anche un paio di graditissimi fuori programma! Visto la passione di mia moglie per fucsia abbiamo impostato un tema fenicottero con le commensali vestite di rosa/fucsia e una torta fatta a fenicottero! Siamo rimasti, ancora una volta, tutti strabiliati. Questa volta hanno soggiornato anche i miei genitori e i miei suoceri, tutti hanno apprezzato la pulizia delle stanze, la qualità della ristorazione e la gentilezza del personale. Voglio prendere l'occasione per ringraziare il Direttore per il suo preciso e sempre puntuale coordinamento di tutte attività e dello staff, Paolo del customer care che è per noi sempre un punto di riferimento, lo Chef Dario e il suo braccio destro Alessio che ogni volta ci deliziano il palato è di sicuro non ci fanno mai andar via con la fame, Patrizia e Giacomo del Wonder Restaurant supporti fondamentali durante le colazioni e le cene, Valeria del Tutankhamon che ha coordinato un ottimo servizio in occasione della cena di compleanno, Marcello e Marco del Wonder Bar, ottimi Barman e organizzatori di aperitivi e la pasticceria che ha fatto una vera e propria opera d'arte con la torta. Dedico un focus all'animazione: Shirley, Mattia e Giuseppe sono sempre l'anima della festa, Francesca, ormai poco presente in hotel visto il nuovo incarico al Parco, che, con grande stupore, era presente come supporto allo staff e Carlo, nuovo responsabile animazione hotel, che ci ha deliziati con il secondo gradito fuori programma facendo un bellissimo spettacolo di magia usando anche un bastone a fenicottero! Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel. La stanza era pulita ma come già sottolineato in una recensione di maggio 2023, ”mancano alcune accortezze di un hotel 4 stelle che dovrebbero essere scontate” (i.e in bagno non c'è nessun bicchiere, porta spazzolino, salviette, fazzoletti etc...). In questo periodo, inoltre, stanno facendo dei lavori, quindi una volta fatto il check-in, dopo pranzo (ore 15 pomeriggio), c'erano i muratori che utilizzavano il trapano e facevano abbastanza rumore fino le 18 più o meno. La sera abbiamo cenato in un ristorante e al nostro ritorno in albergo c'era un cameriere seduto nella hall che ci ha chiesto dove avessimo mangiato, di dove eravamo. Abbiamo risposto alle sue domande per educazione e gentilezza anche se è stato un po' ”invasivo” nel chiedere a mia figlia ”Where are you from?” quando fino a poco tempo prima stavamo parlando in italiano. Una volta entrate in stanza, mia figlia riceve la richiesta su instagram da questo cameriere SENZA avergli mai detto nome e cognome. Il giorno dopo, facciamo colazione ( la quale non era abbondante e neanche troppo degna di un hotel 4 stelle). Dopodiché al check-out, chiediamo al receptionist (che tra l'altro era il responsabile) se fosse normale che un loro dipendente chiedesse l'amicizia su instagram, non sapendo i nostri dati personali, lasciandoci quindi supporre che avesse chiesto direttamente alla reception il nome e cognome di mia figlia. Il responsabile ci ha risposto che avevamo assolutamente ragione e che avrebbe preso dei provvedimenti siccome era inaccettabile e ci avrebbe tenute aggiornate via email sui provvedimenti e ”indagini”. In fine, dopo 2 settimane, non ci ha mai comunicato chi avesse trafugato i dati dalla reception al cameriere. quindi attenzione alle vostre carte di credito o altri dati sensibili che potrebbero essere trasmessi a terze persone indesiderate.

Structure a little dated but clean. It is immense and not all environments are exploited. There is a bus stop a few meters away. You have to travel by car. In the surroundings there is only nature. The buffet includes first courses, second courses, vegetables, fruit and desserts with enough variety. I will evaluate breakfast at a later time. Pets are allowed. There are some smoking areas. The pool is huge and has an island on one side. Then there is the one for children. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas around both. There is also a lawn area. The cleaning of the pool itself is thorough. I can't say the same about the space around it. But the blame lies largely with uncivilized people and I've seen many... In the pool area there is the bar which at midday offers a buffet in addition to the usual sandwiches, toasts, sandwiches and wraps. It has an oven for pizzas and they are baked throughout the day offering an alternative to the restaurant in the evening. I saw a basketball court, a ping pong court and a billiards court. My room was clean, comfortable for 2 people, with a balcony with a side view of the pool and lawn. Clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom.

Nothing to say negative about the hotel, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable accommodation (we had a family apartment), I confirm very positive reviews on the restaurant. Maximum availability of staff in providing information for visits to the attractions of the area (Park of Security, Borghetto, Gardaland, Lake). The Eden staff have never been very courteous and welcome, unfortunately, unlike some commercial activities in the “low-propense” area to the tourist...
