This should be regarded as one of the few relatively cost-effective hotels in Europe. It is very close to the beach. You can go for a run in the morning. The breakfast is also good. It happened to be the peak season when I went, so it was a bit expensive.

Ons gevoel over Hotel Neptuno is dubbel. De ligging (vlak aan het strand) is prachtig, onze kamer (met zeezicht) werd perfect onderhouden, de badkamer was meer dan volledig uitgerust,... alles positief dus! Helaas ontbrak elke vorm van sfeer: de ontvangst was kouder dan een blokje ijs (in Spanje!), het (binnen-)terras was zonder twijfel het minst uitnodigende van alle terrassen in de buurt, een glimlach bij het uitchecken was er te veel aan... Kortom, echt welkom voel je je niet. Een iets meer positief en optimistisch management/personeel zou een wereld van verschil maken... kostenloos...

A lovely hotel which offered everything we needed for a four day break in Valencia. Attractive decor and excellent facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently situated for bus and metro links for the city centre. The room was stylishly decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The outlook over the beach was pleasant and peaceful but we imagine it could be quite noisy at the height of the season when the Beach Club opposite is in full swing. Our only criticism is that the music in the bar/restaurant area was too loud even in the morning.

Positives - The location is great for the beach with lots of fantastic restaurants, bars and cafes close by. Beach is beautiful as is the scenery.
The reception staff were extremely helpful, providing milk for tea, bowls, and a free late checkout. Answered any questions we had.
Only 1.5 mile walk/run to the beautiful park. A tram station is right outside going into the city centre and airport. All ideal.
Negatives - It is extremely noisy being so close to a nightclub with music and people shouting outside until 4-5am each night we stayed (Thursday-Sunday). One night the hotel glass door was even smashed.
The rooms are also very small. Way too much furniture (two arm chairs, desk and coffee table) which meant zero floor space to walk around.
Finally, we went out for the day and got back at 4pm to find our room still had not been cleaned so it messed up our plans. No idea why it could take so long for such a small hotel.
All in all, great staff, beautiful beach and views, but very overpriced for what it is. Bring your ear plugs!

The hotel was easy to find and only a short walk away from the metro line. The hotel and our room itself were very clean and the staff behind reception were friendly and accommodating. We'd certainly stop again.

Ich habe nix zu meckern. Preis-Leistung völlig okay. Die Damen an der Rezeption mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Strandnähe ist top und auch sonst ist man mit den öffentlichen Nahverkehr schnell in der Innenstadt und fußläufig ist es mit einer Stunde auch völlig okay. Der Weg dorthin ist schon sehr sehenswert.

Nice hotel right on the beach and close to transport links into the city. Thought €18 was expensive for breakfast, so we ate out. But lots of restaurants nearby that were a cheaper alternative.
